But not of Luka's waist line, amirite? Am trusting you to stay on that by close examination of his on line photos. Have to nip that in the butt ... errr ... bud.

lol, let me parse the phrasing a bit:

like lebron didn't like luka's shadow, luka didn't like lebron's. he's clearly the boss now, and he prefers that. this is a guy who routinely drags the pretty pathetic slovenian national team around. he believes he can get things done with lower profile guys who play their roles well.

Luka is a smart guy, he knew they were going nowhere fast with that same situation. We are building something sustainable now, out with the old and in with the new.

i think it's funny how these trashtalkers all decide it's the other guy that "crossed the line". luka was saying it was bitazde earlier this year; schroder implying it was luka in this case.

is there some sort of summit in which the trashtalkers participate annually and decide what you can say and who you can say it about, lol?

C’mon Dennis, you are a decent defender, but you in no way, shape, or form have anything close to what Luka has to back up all that talk.

Exactly. LeBron is currently 41 years old and STILL making the entire offseason about him and where he chooses to go. I appreciate his work ethic and that he has stayed out of trouble and seems to be an overall "good guy". But, let's not pretend he isn't incredibly full of himself.

Fans always get caught up on named players getting brought in. They totally understate what a massive difference there is when you get talented and hard working players in that know their role. This team will perform a little more like an MJ team where Luka is the heliocentric player surrounded by the right kind of players. But, we will win a lot of games and I think some titles along the way.

I like your thinking, we are building the next NBA dynasty. Multiple championships incoming. AR, Luka, Kessler, Grimes and Carr is a dynamic young starting unit. Great bench as well.

    Great comment.
Far too often, me included sometimes, we look at teams, especially new players, as individuals and forget the impact of fit and how sports is not about the sum of parts but the synergies between them.
That's why most teams who have the best individuals (like the 3 superstar teams) haven't worked out much, while you have teams like Indiana going to the Finals without a single superstar.

I'm very curious to see this new iteration evolve in the court. I like how the pieces fit together and having each player with a clear role will benefit the growth of the team.
