    Yeah that's why Vando is important because he is a salary placeholder we need to replace by a strong rotation player, hopefully with a starting 4.

    Hence why Kuminga's contract, if he signs, is key for us. We can't get him and lose him for nothing next summer. While at the same time allowing us to have access to TPMLE

    From what the FO has done so far, I think that's the main hold up and if it gets done, it's within those parameters.

    I like the gamble on Kuminga and he has the biggest upside of any available option. But I have some reservations due to his agent and his mindset. Let's hope it works

    With Kuminga sounding more and more likely I went looking for myself for defensive highlights and aside from some clips back with the warriors 4-5 years ago, this guy thinks he's good with all his added embellishments to the clip, and it's from this past season.



    Oh wow had only watched part with no audio. Now have headphones on to see the whole thing and SORRY about the dude that is narrating. :eek: :rofl:

    Ayton in that he believes he's a star and wants to prove it. We need someone who is willing to play a specific role and do dirty work. I REALLY don't think he's capable of this.

    Where do we want to spend next years MLE? I’m thinking a 3&D POA like Max Christie could be perfect. We’d be adding a 40% shooter who defends well and he’ll probably opt out next year and will be an UFA. I’d be really happy with this team:

    Luka / Sexton / Manon or Bronny
    Reaves / Carr
    Christie / Grimes / Zaire or Jake (BAE)
    Kuminga / Adou / Kaluma
    Kessler / Mamu / Vet Min


    If they could slot like this:

    1. Luka
    2. Reaves
    3. Kuminga
    4. Kessler
    5. Christie
    6. Grimes
    7. Carr
    8. Mamu
    9. Sexton
    10. Adou
    11. Zaire or Jake
    12. Vet Big

    13. Manon or Bronny
    14. Kaluma

    That’s a young, really solid, competitive team to me. A lot depends on Reaves and Kuminga for our ceiling. We have a great 1st option, and I really like the 4 through 14 in this setup.

    Yeah, maybe, maybe not. I don’t know what they would do, but I’d like to get Christie. Good POA defender 40% from 3 on 6 attempts and just plays his role.

    We may have already found our version of him, but a year or two away, just cheaper.

    Our young team seems to be full of future all stars. So much to be excited about.
