sorry, i had to pull the data . The San Antonio Spurs hold a postseason record of 15-12 (.556) in games started by De'Aaron Fox. During the 2026 NBA Playoffs, Fox has led the team to the NBA Finals, while also boasting a 7-1 record in the clutch minutes of his postseason appearances. ............
The Los Angeles Lakers have an 11-21 playoff record in the games Austin Reaves has played.

The Knicks won 15 out of their last 16 playoffs games. Finished with a + 283 pt differential. The Spurs simply lost to the better TEAM.

    that data doesn’t seem correct?

fox was just hilariously bad this series. God knows why Mitch Johnson kept letting him jack shots and run the offense.

    • Game 1: 3/13
    • Game 3: 4/14
    • Game 4: 6/16
    • Game 5: 3/15

I highly doubt reaves would be as bad as Fox. In fact I think the Knicks should give Fox a ring!

Brunson gets a ring and a Finals MVP before Luka. Who saw that one coming?

A team dont go to the finals beat the champs if they dont have some level of success. only one team can win. A team can have a match up problem. NY has two bigs to body up Wemby and they also have guards to throw at fox.

first off Fox did something Austin never did, Its not a question if Austin would be bad as fox he would have. He would have with how physical the games were. This season he already did. Game 1: 8 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists (3-of-16 shooting) In the 2026 Western Conference Semifinals, Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves averaged 15.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder swept the Lakers in four games, with Reaves' scoring highlighted by an 8-point dud in Game 1 and a 27-point, 6-assist effort in Game

So Austin get a pass for his toe and abs but Fox dont. see what i am saying?

That you aren't fond of Austin Reaves? I think we get it.

The old argument. I don't believe anything you say but will defend your right to say it. Of course, I am personally going to ignore you but hey, none of us get everything we want. LOL

They choked, zero experience, they got extremely tired and tight at the end of every single game. One they survived. They will learn something from this and I think they will be tougher next year.

spurs led by double digits in every game and still lost. that's not something you get over quickly. but even then, i expect them to be perennial title contenders for as long as wemby's healthy. harper, vassell, and castle are all still young. need to do something about fox and their moronic coaching staff if they want to actually win one though

but what a run by the knicks. they weren't the best regular season team, but they sure got hot at the right time

Hahaha, it’s a bit of that, and a bit of, do I have blind spots and biases that people with completely different takes unearth.

In this instance I think I’m safe.

Mark Cuban. lol. Nah but pretty funny. Dallas didn’t want to give Brunson a contract extension.

San Antonio played like a team trying to get through a game after a tough loss. The New York Knicks played like a team trying to win a championship. That’s the difference. For the 4th game the Knicks straight took the game from the San Antonio Spurs. You can’t do that in the playoffs. You can’t play like that in the playoffs.

Seeing Josh Hart who was our guy. Knicks but Lakers had him. We had a culture just like the Knicks growing. Ball Russell Ingram Randle Zubac. You just gotta ride with those guys.

let your team gell. That’s how you win.

So I hope we’re taking notes.

    Luka Reaves Thiero Foundational pieces.

Ayton Hachimura a Pick. And of course Lebron.

You gotta be patient. So I’ll be patient. My lesson is when you can get guys like Towns you get them.

    so here we are

Luka Reaves James Thiero Bronny Hayes Ayton there might not be on the market. Thybelles and our pick.

The Knicks have best of both bigs. Skill finesse post Karl Anthony Towns. Athletic rim runner inside defense in rebounding. Mitchell Robinson.

Can’t believe Arod gifted the Knicks money and Karl Anthony towns. Just because Minnesota didn’t want to pay towns. Towns should still be a Timberwolf.

because he had turned in a bad postseason performance wherein he was picked on defensively. sure sounds familiar for some reason...

btw, brunson was great in last night's game, but he got carried in other games in this series, and his numbers looked an awful lot like our new resident whipping boy after three games, too. amazing what having two of the game's best three and D forwards can do...

oh, and re: fox--i agree with calipari. it was clear he was playing hurt. he could have pulled a kawhi and sat, putting his personal brand over winning, but he tried to play even though he wasn't himself. now he's getting all the blame. lame stuff, imo. wemby ran out of gas in every game. he looked really bad offensively and a step slow defensively in crunch time of every game, imo. i was worried his health wouldn't hold up in that he wouldn't be able to play in games, but it's clear that at least right now, he can't play for 40mpg in the playoffs. it will be interesting to see how SA handles that. he played less than 30mpg all year, then they ramped his minutes up by 25%, and he couldn't handle it. do they risk playing him a few more mpg in the regular season? they are obviously concerned about that in terms of wear and tear.

anyway, knicks were fully healthy, and they won. same story as pretty much every year lately. be a top 5-7 team in the league, then hope for injury luck. you don't have to be the best on paper (the knicks most certainly weren't). you don't have to have the best player in the series (wemby was that, by a mile, despite his late game issues). but you do have to be playing at max capacity with all your big dogs, and it helps if your opponent...isn't.

I think you have to give the young guys a pass. It’s their first playoff experience for Wemby, Castle, Harper, Vassell, Johnson and Bryant. Kornet and Barnes won a ring before but one was a 8 min player and the other didn’t even get playing time. Heck even Fox only had 7 games in the playoffs before this year.

It’s really impressive how far they got and how well they played. Wemby averaged 40 mins a game this series and yes he looked a bit tired at the end of games, but losing momentum tends to do that too. Castle and Harper only averaged about 30 mins a game and the moment became too much for them in the second half of games.

It’s a part of growing. I expect them to win the championship next year if they’re healthy. That’s how good Wemby is.

Abeer all of yall solid takes. Slick.

I’ve watched a lot of Basketball. I don’t make excuses about being young. Basketball is basketball Magic was a kid carried the Lakers in 1980 when Kareem got hurt. Kobe carried the Lakers when Shaq got hurt in Indiana. Those are moments superstar moments.

I kept waiting for one of the other guys to pick up Wemby Fox Harper Castle couldn’t find it. I’ll say this in the 29 point choke game Harper tried to. The 3’s to me were a sign of desperation no offense. No flow. No throw into the big man. No easy iso.

as overweight and flawed as he looks now. James Harden has a I gotta get a bucket move let me get two to slow the crowd down and rally bucket. Just a smooth wet jumper.

I never saw it from Harper I think he’s gonna be an elite NBA player. He’s got moves but when the Spurs needed a bucket. He couldn’t bring it. Last game there were possessions he just didn’t have it. Now Johnson should’ve went to him earlier. And used him over Fox.

Fox had like 4 straight possessions where he could’ve carried the team and got something. I’m not gonna say he was playing through the ankle cause when he was hurt against OKC he played. And then he was able to look good against them. This series. He chocked. The execution wasn’t there. A sign of chocking is the missed shots they just weren’t there. Regular season jumpers were now clanks.

I’ve seen this from better shooters than him. Peja Stoyokavic. When you choke you choke.

it’s not there. He’s always been a scorer but shooter no. When him and Brunson went toe to toe he couldn’t match him. I’ve seen Mike Bibby more clutch than him. Facts.

29 points lead will effect him for the rest of his career and ball hold. He won’t say it but it’s true. I’ve seen greats nail mid range he couldn’t do it. Wemby needed him his gas was on E.

Wemby was electric. I think myself with the Kareem comparisons were a bit much. Kareem since he was 15 was always an advanced scorer. Just a force always and always could score. Low post was his thing. I think Wemby really needs to lock himself and get his post moves right with Hakeem and Tim Duncan. Spurs can benefit hiring Duncan to their staff. Duncan mastered the mid range jumper. It was money. Wemby has no post game and it clearly showed. I would work on getting from the top of the key into the paint.

His weight program they gotta watch. Robinson used his a** on him and just moved him aside to get that rebound. Nothing you can do. I saw the pain in Wembys eyes. It’s okay you pull for the kid. Like Tiger Kobe Jordan. He’ll get there. He just wants it all now.

Supermax signing I don’t know. I really don’t think the kid is fazed by Money. Winning drives him.

honestly he looked like Dwight Howard in 2009 against us. Dwight had one of the best series I’ve ever seen a man have against LeBron in 2009 where LeBron probably looked the most dominant of his career. Dwight went toe to toe and won. That’s how I compare Wemby and Shai. Once Dwight played us we whipped a** because we had a better team. The Knicks were a better team.

as good as a big is you need help from your perimeter players. Shaqs 2000 finals run was one for the ages. So when Bigs dominate that’s the gold standard.

Mike made this a perimeter game and Mitch Johnson had no answer. Mitch better watch it. Every championship you don’t win with Wemby is another reason they will fire you.

Stephen Castle nice player. Not there yet. And the jump shot isn’t there. Made strides against OKC. But when they needed the jumper who could make it??? Slasher great player but not a great shooter. Can benefit from Kawhi Tutlidge shooting.

Vassell in and out some nights he was shooting. He just disappeared.

    Kornet retire.

Brunson a clutch MVP player. Becky Hammond eat your words. He’s one of the best I’ve seen. His midrange 3point game is elite. In terms of being able to control the game from the perimeter best I’ve seen since. Curry. He can bait fouls. He uses his body to bait fouls. A pump faker like Shai.

one of the worst instances of NBA tampering I’ve ever seen. The Knicks hired his dad to sign him. Worst secret in the NBA and everybody knew it. So NBA before you slam Clippers look here at this front and center. Look who his dad’s agent is. This smells of World Wide Wes Leon Rose. s***. Give Leon Rose credit. A Rob Pelinka type has the relationships and did the what???? Fired Thibedou and hired a playoff underachiever Mike Brown. And this team needed his offense. He’s an offensive master. He’s a bill walsh. His offense is so technical. He learned alot from Kerr but Mike perfected it. He made adjustments.

Towns led this Knicks team carried them in game 1 and 2. Disappeared towards the end of the series. Did he though. Only 2 points in game 5 but his defense on Wemby was masterful. For a guy who they said had no defense. As a center. I’ll take slack. But I put him in the category with Jokic as offensive center goes. I’m pulling for this kid. I’m happy for this kid. He’s been through so much. And then he had that ACL in Minnesota and came back.

OG the most clutch player in New York since Bernie Williams. OG will have a pot belly and white beard and people will be still saying and he’ll still be saying OG!!!!!!!!!! The worst moment of Masais career trading this guy for RJ Barrett. Drake is somewhere screaming. Great player. Amazing phenomenal player. Here’s a little Abeer shoutout. Yall know I’m big on Gianiss. Here’s proof maybe you just ride it out and keep your core. OG was dangled in trade rumors. The Knicks stayed pat. This guy is a superstar. May I say baby Kawhi???????

James Dolan you still suck. Shut up and play some drums!!!!! lol.

and free Charles Oakley. f*** it I hope Brunson wears an Oakley Jersey at the parade.

well I got my Dodgers. Until training camp.

and this should be a clear indication that Load management play guys. They need to get ready for the marathon of the playoffs. You can’t just ramp up, Wemby wasn’t prepared for it. 30 minutes a night.

Luka tore his hamstring but I thought we had a good plan. Add some 3-D and I’ll see you at training camp Ayton.

So where can I find your posts from over the summer of 2025 saying the Knicks are going to win the finals this year? Was that a hope or reality?
