A used piece up gum on the bottom of Kurt's shoe is doing more work for us than DK. If you can get something that could help with a need AND any form of draft capital for him. You jump at that.

 

I'd take a flyer on Sheppard for the 2030 2nd, but we would be unable to aggregate him in a trade for 60 days after that, so we would have to consider that too. But at the end of the day, I would do it for that asset. Could even use that 2030 2nd to trade into the 2nd round of this year's draft if needed.
