I’ve liked Billy Richmond all year. I made a post awhile about this guy comparing him to KCP. Every time he’s out there, he’s making back breaking plays on defense and offense. I think he covered up a lot for Acuff and Meleek Thomas’ deficiencies. Sign me up if he declares for the draft.

I agree on Bidunga, he blocks a ton of shots and is a great lob threat but I think he’s not big enough for the 5 in the nba. And his offense is too raw for to play the 4 right now. I see him as a project. Not sure he’ll be better than Hayes. I’d be happy if he proves me wrong though also I think he transferred to Louisville for next year?

bidunga looked substantially undersized to me, but i did watch him in some games against really big front lines, i guess. i wouldn't have taken him in the first round, though.

i just keep remembering that jj said the reason he benched hayes against minny was for offensive reasons. this tells me a lot about how jj thinks.

i'd be more mad if the knicks had drafted well. not like we fell behind the early 2000s spurs.

i am getting a little nervous seeing both mullins and ngongba return to college. i knew some guys would stay because next year is supposed to be a super weak draft and this one is stacked, but i'm hoping to at least have some options at 25.

I think at least Carr, Swain, Krivas, or Mo Johnson will be there at 25 and I'd take them in that order. I've got no confidence we draft a a big in the first rd. So I'm thinking Carr or Swain, both will probably be contributors in a few years time.

They have Swain coming off the board at 26, I'd much rather take him. Unless Denver is taking him because they're going to let Watson walk to LA.

I'm all in on a wing if we keep this pick. It looks like Krivas decided to return to Arizona and I just don't see us drafting a big. Veesaar reminds me of Huff, who we had and let go.

I think Carr is really going to pop in individual workouts and might go lottery. So I'm with you @JSM, Swain, Allen Graves from Santa Clara, or Amari Allen from Alabama. Graves doesn't seem like a big time athlete but is skilled at 6'-9" and his advanced metrics are pretty good (4 stl%, 4 blk%). Amari Allen is also 6'-7" does a bit of everything and was on a pretty good Alabama team. I'm probably out on Isaiah Evans from Duke, he's got a nice stroke but seems too one dimensional. Josh Jefferson is interesting but I think we could nab him in the early second round, and I'm also intrigued by Karaban in the second round. High IQ guys from winning programs who can shoot, seem to be having some success in the league lately.

edit: I'd also be interested in Chris Cenac Jr, though sometimes he gives me Kurt Thomas vibes

i haven't seen much of graves, but there's been buzz there. i half wonder if jalen williams's success is helping him.

i also don't think carr will be there anymore (i was never sure he would, tbh). but numbers-wise, we're still at a point where someone good has to fall. now, by draft time, that could have changed again, unfortunately.

cenac looked a bit like kel'el ware to me, maybe a bit narrower, though. people thought ware would be a long-term project, but instead he popped immediately (don't discount the spoelstra effect, though). if he were available at 25, i think i'd take him and run.
