Just stick to things you are good at Paul, like crapping your pants.

I was thoroughly unimpressed with Ellis in Sacramento, his eye test sucked, his stats were good I guess? He's never played more than 24 min a game. I just don't like him as a 20M gamble.

7 different teams have been to the Finals, from the West in the last 7 campaigns. It's not really a formula at play..you need your best players to perform and hope the role players do their part IMO.

There is a chance that we might pull a RFA like Watson, or Kessler, but I doubt it.

Personally..Id still like to flip a FRP for two in the upcoming draft. Grab Zion for 2 FRP, and absorb him into cap space, reup Reaves and draft two rookies. Id look to the draft for bigs.

I was proud of Reddick getting into Luka’s face. That was a Phil Jackson moment. And everyone on the team wanted him to do it. Because we’ve all known he has not been playing defense. Reddick had to wake Luka the f*** up. I need that intensity he had in Dallas. Punish teams go in on them. Don’t worry about everybody else. You do what you gotta do.

You wont' be surprised which two guys seem clueless: sigh and I like both these guys but there is a reason why the talent doesn't lead the actual to do better when they are on the court

Well, we also didn't make either shot and both shots were very makeable.

Recoveries back to mostly same effectiveness seem to be more common and even quicker these days? The surgical techniques most likely must be improving. Not to discount these upper level players working their a***s off.

have we seen a full recovery from an achilles, though?

i think durant's maybe the only one i can think of?

klay thompson's career basically ended (though he was actually trending that way before). as did kobe's.

durant and dominique are kind of the exceptions that prove the rule until further notice. maybe tatum and dejounte and haliburton will have that kind of recovery, but even recent history says it's unlikely.

I don't think nique was ever the same again - He did have a great year after the injury but he became a 3 point shooter! he certainly wasn't the human highlight reel after that. kind of reminded me of an old Worthy - the guy who would use his first step to dunk on people became a jumpshoooter

good for him but the thought of C Bags getting another ring is really annoying, and they'd probably be the team to beat after OKC.

Yeah Kobe was basically a jump shooter after.

it was rough. Klay turned into a rotational player. Tyrese will be interesting because he’s a point guard.

maybe i'm the idiot, but i'm not sure it moves the needle much? they've succeeded via the same formula they had pre-horford/holiday, and when they run into the best teams in the playoffs (round 2 and beyond) the same warts that holiday/horford erased will rise to the surface again, tatum or not.

    pritchard isn't holiday, and queta/vuc aren't horford/kornet.

I guess in there favor Brown is clearly better - his handle was really poor for a long time and now he can actually initiate offense without being stripped. Who knows how good Tatum will be and even if he's 90+ percent the synergy may or may not be there.

I hate to admit it though they are far better then I expected them to be.

i legit thought they'd tank this year, and instead, they're better than us. and that sucks pretty hard.

good coaching, great culture, weak conference (i know people are saying the east has caught up but...i'll invoke ox here with a hard NO).

i just think det, cle, and ny can all exploit their shortcomings in a seven game series, even with tatum added. i trust ny the least of those.

they should also once again fear miami, as they have a coaching advantage against like everyone but them--the same team that took them out twice before holiday.

At what point do we start considering Charlotte a real threat to get to the ECF. They're 16-4 in their last 20 and the Ball/Kon/Miller/Bridges/Diabate starting lineup is 20-2 together. They're in 9th, but 2.5 games back of the Sixers for 6th. It's starting to remind of the Pacers last year, who started out the season pretty mediocre and then went on a tear the second half.

Charlotte has a physical advantage that only SAS has over other teams (SAS is obviously different). That starting lineup has 4 huge guys for their position who are all athletic and shoot. Just hard to matchup with them physically
