…I feel like Zion would be more comfortable as a second or third option. I’d take a chance on him at the right price

I think it depends where. If we're just not interested in signing him to a good long-term deal, why not trade him somewhere now that might be? I think everyone involved would be okay with that. That's why I've been intrigued by an Ayton for Mathurin swap for a few weeks now, but only if we simultaneously brought in another starting caliber center.

The center rotation is fine, and Ayton has more upside than Claxton. Dont like this, unless we're really not planning to re-sign Ayton.

Abeer your perspective was spot on. You really researched it.

nobody’s hands are clean in it. Jaynie didn’t give a f*** and just wanted the cash. Johnny didn’t give a f*** and just wanted the cash basically knew it was done after they could sale. Jim didn’t care and was still pissed but just wanted his money.

just looking at this. Seems like the only ones who really had the passion like Jerry to keep it going was Jesse and Joey. It’s pretty cool saying you own the Lakers also when you’re in your 40’s seems like they really liked being in Basketball. Like an owner told me. Once you sale your team no one knows who you are. Cause you don’t own it.

Jeanie had passion for the Lakers like her father. But more than The Lakers she had passion for buisness. Always been that way. And seems like that some of the s*** she went through came through in this. Yes it did get a little personal. But let’s not sit here and act like Jerry was having an affair. They divorced in 1972. Them boys were born in the 80’s. That’s like the Kardashians having annymosity towards Kendal and Kylie Jenner.

Jerry was gonna be Jerry. Them boys did work on that scouting. s*** Reaves Caruso Kuzma I’ll give Jim Buss Zubac cause I know that was his project.

yes Joey and Jesse were doing some scheming s***. But this sounds like the social network movie to me. With Zuckerberg. How he diluted the shares to basically nothing of Facebook to his Partner. Jeanie had them thinking yeah talk to the attorneys but she already made the sale. It was an ambush. Those attorneys were working for her. Kind of s*** like disbarment if they shared their information they discussed with the brothers with her. Client privilege. But it’s messy because they are company lawyers.

see they f***ed up. They got cheap. They should’ve used their own independent lawyers and then they would’ve known what was up.

Financially no sympathy. They both are walking away with 500 million. Nobody got screwed like that. But Jeanie screwed them manipulating them and finessing them thinking they were just selling there. Saying Mark made an offer.

they got played. They aren’t buisness savy. They thought they could do some grimy s*** by being the last two owners. But didn’t Jerry say he wanted it set up where the youngest will still own the team???

kind of confusing. They can just argue that they were keeping Jerry’s dream. But they voted to sale. They didn’t have to vote.

on Jeanie’s personal level it’s f***ed up to do that to those boys that rode with you when your brother Jim wanted to hostile takeover you and not have you own the team. We heard Jessie’s statements that was f***ed up to f*** your brother over like that. He gave you his word. And then you f*** him.

she can give Rambi whatever she wants but damn Linda was just there riding coat tales and she gets a huge payday. s*** Kurt made more doing this just hanging out then when he played.

for us as fans it’s great. Because we have real owners who have deep pockets who will run it like a sports franchise and not a ma and pop. Like when Ballmer bought the Clippers from Sterling. I thought it was a little f***ed up how she treated long term employees.

best thing Jeanie did for us as fans was sale it to Mark Walters. She made a great buisness decision and so did he. She sold it for 10 billon. Jerry bought it for 67 million. That’s a good buisness move.

and s*** Magic is still there. Who you think bought Mark in there??? Magics always been a guy who knew good connections whether it was Howard Schultz Jerry Buss or Mark Walters. Magic sold his Laker ownership but bought into the Dodgers and said he’s Dodgers owner helped rebrand that franchise after McCourt. And then probably brought Mark into the Lakers and said it made good financial sense. Who got the final laugh Magic. Funny he wasn’t featured or used for comment in any of this story. And he’s Marks Partner so I guarantee you he’s part of this new Laker ownership group.

Gianiss to the Lakers can still happen and the Lakers are a dark horse. Pelinka is going to make a splash. Gianiss is his whale. Gianiss is hollering. Way you take fans away from this article. Is a trade for Gianiss.

That’s the gorilla of the NBA that GMs are shook of about. Gianiss and Luka.

The Lakers will make a trade for Gianiss.

they will throw all their picks in and anything else they have to.

the last straw was Gianiss Hollering about guys being selfish. He’s going to be a Laker. f*** all that other s***. This is the only trade the Lakers are into, this is the only way you’re going to beat San Antonio. And OKC. So figure it out.

yes you trade Austin for a Anthony Edwards a Jokic and a Jalen Johnson a Shai. These guys move the league. I’m putting Gianiss with all those guys.

Austin is in the tier of the Dearen Fox the Tyrese Maxey the Jalen Brunson the Brandon Miller the Julius Randle the Karl Anthony Towns the OG onabli the Jaden Mcdaniels the Jalen Williams. The Pascals they are next level.

so if you ask me to trade a tier 2 for a tier 1 I’m going to always do it. And you can’t argue my logic because we just did it last season Anthony Davis for Luka.

I’ll give you age. But Gianiss is in still top level prime. We made a promise to Luka to put the best championship team around him.

I will say this. Lebron looks great. He’s looked great for the last week. I hope he goes down to Miami for all star break. We’re gonna need him for this second half run. Lebron looks explosive.
