I don't think he is a long term piece. Just doesnt add anything in terms of defense, playmaking, hustle plays, etc

The Lakers could really really use his shooting but he run hot once every few games but mostly cold otherwise

Anyone else notice Nick “seemingly” 2 games in a row against Memphis come off the floor almost exact same Groundhog Day style after hitting a 3 and timeout is called by Grizzlies and Gabe is on the sideline slapping hands with the guys coming off the floor and is right where looked like Smith couldn’t help but see him with his hand out for Nick too and leaves him hanging? It’s uncanny how identical both times were same spots on the floor and same situation. Sure looked odd.

He's 21. His size will limit his impact, unfortunately, but he's 21. As I said earlier, we need to develop youth irrespective if he's here long-term or in a trade. He's shown he can play in the NBA (even in limited mins) and we can use that and probably his salary at some point when we sign him to a standard deal.
