LABron James Discussion: The Final Year?

I’ve never understood the “you’re a hater” label if you don’t slobber all over the same player that another does.
As Toklat said, people like different players, who come with different personalities.
I too don’t “hate” any of these entertainers- I just respect others more based on how they go about their business, treat others, and engage with the fans.
Everyone has their own criteria for who they vibe with, just like in the real world.
It would be quite boring here if everyone enjoyed the game in the same way as everyone else.

 

yeah, i don't think i ever "hated" harden--i just kinda hated his game and the discourse surrounding it (and really, more the latter--the league, media, and fans enabled the antics).

ironically, i've always really liked lebron's game (back when lakers fans hated him), but i'd be described as a "lebron hater" by some on this forum.

 

Meh - games like this is why I get annoyed with tone of this thread. Frankly Lebron on the court does so much that deserves "slobbering" over.

Just amazing the processing speed remains this fast still - the passing was great of course but you could see it on defense as well.

Yeah. I just never saw where his fit would be an issue. His battle is with Father Time but if he is on the floor and healthy the guy can just play.

 

Most “haters” here are of the “stop pounding the ball” variety. He did 0 of that tonight, which was awesome and proves the point.

Seriously, just… how?
Curry, Harden, Ray Allen, Lillard, Klay… and then 40-year-old LeBron. That’s insane longevity + adaptability.

Makes tonight even more fun — he’s not just “back” from sciatica, he’s rewriting history while doing it .

 

You ever come up again we can go to where you don't have to combat fish...lol. Alaska is a beautiful place. We could use a weather lunch charm as well.

 

Also when there are so many boars in a river they are banging together and you could run across without getting wet.

 

This just has the feel of a championship season. Looking forward to an OKC rematch.

 

I mentioned a couple weeks ago that LeBron was watching and figuring exactly what the team needed. I didn't see the box score but I think it was 12-1 assist to turnovers? You know the guys getting the easy buckets we're loving it.

ETA: LeBron actually had 7 assists in just 4.5 minutes. (From 0:00 3Q to 7:29 4Q.) That is insane. Just your casual 56 assists per 36 minutes.
