I stopped watching in the middle of the 3rd Q... and our bench gave us 0 points up until that point. Awesome, NBA ready backups.
Some scrub guys from the Euroleague would do better.

To be fair, we were playing our two way contracts...

3 of our eventual starters were out in Lebron, Luka & Smart, and that forced us to play our bench as starters. On top of that we were missing bench pieces too in Gabe, Hayes and Kleber who could have all helped.

My main WMC is Rui's rebounding. He is here for his offensive ability, and tonight he just didn't give us enough. On top of that, if he can't either improve his defense or his rebounding, he is just too one dimensional.

16pts lead in the 4th Q and it came down to AR's buzzer beater to win the game. We gotta do better, i bet JJ will address that ;)

Most of these players aren't used to this role down the stretch .

They were hesitant to take good shots early in the shot clock against the zone down the stretch

rui, in particular, really struggled in the middle of the zone, and generally for much of the game he had trouble identifying good shots. he made a couple bad ones early, so i think it kind of poisoned him a bit. we needed to get laravia in the middle of the zone, but we kept ending up with ayton and rui, who each had some issues.

I’d also point to Ayton and Nick Smith.

After last night you can toss Bronny in there.

We are a demanding fan base, no doubt about it. But play hard and perform well within your role and we will embrace and cheer for you.

Vando got screwed out there a few times just because refs have new heart throb for NBA in Wemby. He’s running parallel and the big guy lowers his upper body to swerve into him and bang Jared and they call defensive fouls. I hate those calls come on refs.

This. A game like this is a nice reminder that this roster needs work to actually compete, OKC is in a different league

gotta see if there's a way to turn gabe/kleber into something.

okc's payroll blooms to 246 million next year; they won't be able to keep trotting this team out, imo. and we have avenues to improvement both short and long term.

my wmc is that (check the receipts) i wanted to nab ajay mitchell out from under them last summer, and he signed a cheap deal with them for two more years. grrrr....
