    Culture.

We went on a long detour after winning our last ring but it feels like we are finally establishing an identity on the court again and it’s a great thing to see.

We won but this is another gripe I have with B2Bs. The team on the back to back should not be going up against a team with a few days off.

At this point you have to wonder if Gabe's time here is almost done. We have other guards stepping up and we could get a decent return I think with him on an expiring.

the players aren't the ones asking to sit games out because of "soreness" or bruises. this is on the teams 100%

which is why the league needs to step in and do something. clearly, trying to penalize teams for load managing isn't working. at this point if you're a fan buying tickets to see a team on the back end of a b2b, you might as well just save your money because there's a good chance that team's stars won't be playing

Every Single Time this issues comes up, it makes me think of Kobe and how there was a Grand Canyon sized divide between him and everyone else.
There’s no way, if he we’re playing in today’s soft NBA, that he would allow the team to make him sit out back to backs for load management.

They may not be asking to sit out, but I sure as hell don't get the sense that they're fighting it too hard either. I think if Luka or Austin had told the training staff/JJ "f*** that I'm playing", they'd have played.

I hope New Orleans implode. You imagine Zion gets traded for multiple firsts. Do they then put up Herb, Trey Murphy, Jordan Poole Dejounte Murray, Saddiq Bey or Looney for trade?

I’d be interested in any of those pieces.

Murray can be had for Rui and Kleber (risky)
Poole can be had for Rui and Kleber (stupid?)
Murphy can be had for Gabe, Kleber and Knecht
Herb can be had for Kleber & Knecht
Looney can be had for Kleber

    interesting situation to monitor.

I was kicking around some stuff today for them. It's tough. They're going to ask A LOT for Herb and Murphy. Murphy is 25, maybe they think that fits on the rebuild timeline. Herb is a couple years older, so I think they'd move him before Murphy.

Murray can probably be had for an overpay. His injury stuff concerns me and he's got a lot of relationship drama that I question his head space now.

Poole, they might can shuffle deck chairs with another losing franchise like they did when they got him from DC.

I like Bey, couple seconds should the trick there.

Looney, I wouldn't mind. He was on my board for FA bigs.

Alvarado is another guy, he'll be 28 this season. He's a fan favorite so that's tough, but a lot of playoff teams would be interested in someone who's that annoying.

I'd love to cobble something together for Herb but don't see us beating the incoming offers.

I'd be down for Bey + Looney for Maxi, DK, and a 2nd.

It's not the big $20m deal trade for a 5th starter using our expiring money but is using dead weight for more useful, more proven players who can contribute to a playoff team.

yeah, i'd have to feel confident i'd exhausted that option before looking at something like this.
