Lebron elevates this bunch into contender status. He fills in a lot of the remaining blanks. Now.. we should have expected, to have a good team IMO. We won 50 games last season with Luka, not being in the best shape! The roster had some flaws, but we addressed some issues, and improved the squad, we had most of the core coming into a prove it contract year, this shouldn't be exactly shocking.

That being said, winning feels good. Hell.. it feels great!

I think Walter is going to be all in, with chasing them chips! We are still bound to Lebron's and Austin's cap holds tho. So we can't just fork out whatever. However...

If we go get this chip, the amount of money being spent, as far as repeater tax etc.. isn't going to be an issue with this owner.

That's what I'm thinking. Instead of LeBron's eff them picks it'll be Walters's eff that repeater tax.

Team is clicking and any wins without LeBron are HUGE and to be 3rd in the west without LeBron, and some of this without LUKA, and without other key guys that missed games here and there (Smart, Ayton)? It's really really REALLY impressive.

Luka/Austin being as good as they've been has beeen a huge boon to this team. Yes, we will need LeBron at some point, but in years past, we have cratered without LeBron so this has been a nice change and a glimpse into what our future will look like without Lebron, which is pretty damn good

I stand by what I’ve said, we lack athleticism, length, defense, rebounding at times, and I do not think we are a contender as-is. All that said I like the team, they play hard and that is easy to root for, win or lose I can root for a team like that. I did not think we had much of a chance to win this game tonight without Luka and Reaves, but I like these players, it makes it worth tuning in for because you never know with the way these guys have been playing together. Last year I’m not sure I’d have turned the game on, I did not like that team very much.

This team currently has a next man up mentality, plays with great energy, and is also showing a commitment to defense.

This is pretty much all I’ve ever asked for. Lol. I’m pleased.

We’re really gonna mess around and win a championship by being mid range merchants huh?

    Luka
    Reaves
    Rui
    Ayton
    Lebron
    LaRavia
    Knecht

All enjoy hitting the mid range shot. I actually think it’s brilliant, play for the 3 or a shot in the paint, if you don’t get a good look, hit the midrange.

All three ball of our handlers in Luka, Reaves and Lebron are happy to penetrate and hit the mid range. OR they can pick and pop with Ayton for a middie, OR pass it to Rui, LaRavia and Knecht for a 3 and if those guys are getting run off the line, they can attack the basket and if that’s not available stop for a mid range.

    It’s really hard to defend.

yeah, as long as you don't use it as option A, it's quite a weapon, because defenses are going to concede those and consider it a victory. but not if you're converting 60% of them.

Saw a write up that Los Angeles is currently the top rat infested city in the U.S. Get rid of Ballmer's team, ALL their fans and EVERYONE associated with their organization. Problem solved!

Death by a thousand cuts. Pretty sure LeBron and Smart could both score over 25. We may reset this record with 7.

    No LeBron, No Reaves...no problem.

Against one of the hottest teams in the league...

And down double digits in the 3rd and in the 4th...

    Still pulled it out!! Unreal

I was busy tonight and wasn’t able to tune into the game til around somewhere in the mid 4th. I checked the score on the ESPN app as I was getting home, Lakers were down 99-90, and I was like eh it’s only 9 they can still win this one. I think that says a lot about how this team is playing on both sides of the ball, going into this game I thought it was going to be a tough one with how Wemby has been playing, but I still genuinely felt they could pull it off.
