Even if he gets to career high more than 33 points,I am not sure that he's capable of even scoring 40 +

the lakers must have a white guy score 30+ in each game this season. it is law. it's all on the shoulders of el rivulet this evening!

Jeezus just throw Bronny to the wolves with how many minutes and the role he'll have to play, at least 1 year early, and Laker Nation can rip him to shreds. Nick Jr and him only to man the PG duties I guess?

Anyone know if Thiero travelled to Portland? Naw, just checked and he's still listed as out. No idea why they "recalled" him prior to the Miami game.

    Ayton and Kleber are questionable.

Another LOL at me. I completely forget that Marcus Smart plays PG as well. Now he's a guy with the achilles soreness or whatever they call it, that will be out there on back to back. Brilliant.

JJ and Rob giving him the green light + the ANT interaction unleashed something in him.

It's VERY early but...If he keeps this up, he can replace Rui. With Smart replacing DFS. Not expecting that point total when we're at full health but if that's his approach and mentality, we're good.

Why are the Grizz and Kings so stupid?

Jake with 50 for the win...lol. Actually though, not much this team does will surprise me. We have a lot of good players, just a little light on ball handling tonight.

part of the problem is that there are just so many developmental spots on teams. like, the grizz have some serious wing prospects right now. how many can get the reps in your system? eventually, you cut guys that end up being really good. same reason i always laugh at the draft pick stockpilers. like, how many good players are the nets going to have to cut for nothing because they doubled down on their hoarding as some sort of long-term signal about their seriousness in player development (define irony)?

the kings right now have both carter and ellis scrapping for minutes. both guys may end up better than the other ones they keep, and they can't keep them all. it makes no sense.

this is part of why i'm fine with not having picks for the most part. we'll always be an attractive destination for reclamation projects--if laravia keeps this up for another year, he's going to make a ton of money. more than he would have in memphis or wherever.

i like having picks for their hypothetical value more than their actual value (which is low, imo).

It has to be causing @sirronstuff to recalculate his quota. I'm sure he's kicking himself that he went with such a low number like 11 of 15.

Another good game, didn’t score a ton, but made some big shots late.

offensive regression and stupid foul to the end the game. Still another solid defensive performance and it's just nice having a switchable guy with size. He gets tough boards and the like etc

interesting to read all that. jj didn't say this exactly, but i feel like specialists are getting too much upper roster space on a lot of teams. you need a luka type to do that, and even then, you don't want every other guy to be just elite at a narrowly construed job.

also, the fact that he sees laravia as a 25-30mpg guy going forward is great. from a near-future team-building perspective, his low salary this year and next while being a legit top-8 guy opens up some possibilities.
