if he sucks: Pitchforks! If he does well: It's about time! That kid may never truly get kudos from anyone except LT for his whole career.
Surprised he was in the closing lineup. I didn't see much from him to explain it, apart of a couple steals which were nice. I think JJ wasn't liking Vando's fit with Miami and wanted to manage Smart's load in a b2b. He's non-existent on offense. He scored his first points too. In 46 total minutes this year, he has 2pts, 3r, 5a, 4s 1b, 4to and 1-7fg. That's basically a full game.
LOL yeah …. uh ….No. But what was cool was AR giving it up to give the kid a chance to have a moment. I’ve said it multiple times, and Bronny’s defense is gradually getting better and more aggressive …. that Smart would be helping and teaching. Camera caught it one time when he was coming off the floor and Marcus was talking to him. And then as he turned to come to the bench Bronny looked back one more time it looked like to acknowledge something more he was saying.
He’s made a lot of progress, last year at this time he was getting embarrassed, couldn’t dribble, couldn’t hit a shot. Now he’s dropping dimes, playing some good defense, hit a big 2. He’s got a long way to go, but it’s good to see signs of progress.
Honestly played pretty well: blazers broadcast was complimenting by the end of the night. He's got nice vision
6 dimes and 0 TOs against that aggressive pressure is impressive. Stayed composed. Couple nice drive and dumps to Ayton and Vando.
