So they did make some changes in the order. Will Smith up to 2, and Call replaces Pages.

Not exactly what I suggested, but at least they're trying something. Hopefully it helps.

Also, Shohei already said he could pitch out of the pen in Game 6 or 7, which is good. I assumed so for G7, as everybody will be on deck, but if he can relieve in G6, that means we could use more of our better relievers tonight. JUST NOT TREINEN.

That was a copy cat of game 4. What a massive let down.

Snell looked hittable, rocked early. Why is Roberts trying to make him go more than 6 innings when he gave up 3 runs already. Well I guess yeah the bullpen chokes after, but still.

Doesn't look like this team is winning with the way the offense has completely disappeared like Casper. They look like they got no pride and heart left to fight to do something. Toronto just looks like the better team in all departments. Yesavage was dominant.

Changes need to make made. Fire the hitting coach, something, because keep spamming pop outs is not working at all!

I have faith in Yamamoto for Game 6.
    Dreaming: complete game shutout
Realistic: Yama 6-7 innings, Wrobleski 1, Klein 1, Sasaki 1

Then in Game 7, anything is possible, and all hands are on deck
Dreaming: Don't need Sasaki G6, he starts G7 for 4-5 innings, Ohtani closes w 4-5 innings
Realistic: Glasnow 4-5 innings, Sheehan 1-2, Henriquez 1, Ohtani 1-2, everyone else if needed

Order still needs fixing for both games.
    Ohtani
    Freeman
    Smith

    Mookie
    Muncy
    Edman

I’m going to be long and detailed. Yall some of yall know me from Lakers. Been a huge Dodger fan.

Dodgers hang their hat on Championship team built on pass the Baton. The Dodgers need to pass the Baton. I don’t think they go Ohtani Freeman two left handers.

positives Gausman will throw strikes and we were pretty bad against him outside Smith and Muncy.

I think we make the adjustments and jump on him. He’s hittable. We can get to that bullpen.

Ohtani said it best swing at strikes don’t swing at balls.

Seattle beat these guys twice in the dome. What did they do? They had no answer for big dumper.

take that approach. Seattle was one pitch from away getting a win in game 7. Outside that pitch to Springer they dominated.

Team is kind of shocked shook. But we got Yamamoto going and he says losing isn’t an option two complete game starts. They are built different in Japan.

Realistically we shut them up in Milwaukee. He needs to keep his ball down. I got Yamato going for 7 innings. Sheen for 1 and Sasaki to close it. We might see Sasaki for 3 depending on the score.

We got to Gausman he’s going to go after us. Probably getting the same scouting report from Bieber and yaywashier

Make him pay. I trust Ohtani Freeman and Smith. Smith has delivered. Freeman and Smith sound focused.

Mookie sounds like he’s lost confidence.

    1. Ohtani
    2.Mookie
    3.Freddie
    4.Smith
    5.Kike Hernandez
    6.Max Muncy
    7.Teoscar Hernandez
    8.Miguel Rojas
    9.Tommy Edman

I got Edman at 9 because I want a seasoned batter to work this pitcher in front of Ohtani.

and put Kike in there to put some spark in the middle to get some contact.

    especially with Gausman.

Get in his head. And Ohtani will get one and take it deep.

and give Yoshi Yomomato the cushion.

We beat these guys 5-1 last time they’ll make adjustments but I see us winning this game 3-0.

I really do. I think Yoshi is a gamer.

Missing Vesia has completely changed this whole team. No high leverage guy. Having to leave your starters in there longer than you’d like to. Ohtani and Snell.

taxing arms. It’s just been hard without our top reliever.

So now with backs against the wall. Yamamoto Glassnow Klein Sasaki Gluboski Kershaw

    for game 7

Ohtani you have to start with Ohtani because if you bring him in as a reliever you have to take him out as a hitter so that’s not an option.

So you start with Ohtani follow with Glassnow Snell Yublososwki Sheen and Sasaki

Roberts got a lot of adjustments to make. As you know from Basketball. They better not let us win game 6 cause if we get to game 7 they don’t want that. We can do this two in a row.

We’ve been here before. They gotta take the championship trophy from us we ain’t gonna give it to them.

I like your thinking having Kike leadoff in front of Ohtani giving us and extra lead off hitter very smart.

Roberts had to have them go 6. Usually that’s Vesia. He doesn’t have Vesia his top reliever it puts him in a terrible spot.

My correction. You can bring Ohtani in as a reliever

But you have to move him to left field and then take out the left fielder to keep him in the game. If you want to remove him as a reliever as he can come back in the field. I’m guessing that’s irrelevant as he would be the closer.

I like our chances for 1 game to beat these guys.

Well that another close game 6 that luck favored our boys in blue and they held on for dear life. Eerily similar to game 2, but we got to Gausman early. Betts breaks his terrible duck for hitting.

Yamamoto pitches great again, tires out after 6. Finally Roberts gives a reliever a clean entrance and Wrobleski turns in a good 7th inning.

Sasaki worked hard to get out of the 8th and then that fateful 9th inning where the ball gets stuck in the bottom of the wall resulting in a dead ball saving the Dodgers. Then they miraculously get a double play with 2nd and 3rd with 1 out with Kike's play.

Onto game 7, probably will be Ohtani pitching given Glasnow closed. Will Klein, I hope you're ready to become the hero again or will it be the old man Kershaw?

Whatever happens, it's been a fun season with it's up and downs. Never thought this team with all its flaws would get this far. Now figure out the damn hitting as it looked putrid (looking at you Teo and your terrible lazy swings) besides that 3rd inning and hope the pitching can hold on!

Dodger nation like I said read my post. Dodgers 3-0 they won 3-1. I was close.

and I had Yoshi Yamamoto going 7 innings he gave us 6 innings.

that wall play was huge. Really saved our season. If that ball bounces around. It’s 3-3 at least. And I just think at that point Toronto would win the game in extras. Or even win it in nine.

that double play was tremendous. Kike gambled but heard the broken bat and came in. If he hits that ball over Kikes head 3-3 and the runner is at third for the winning run. Huge!!!!!!! Biggest win of the season. Most important win of the season.

This is what makes Dave Roberts a great manager the adjustment to put Rojas at defense at second base. Rojas saved our season. And Edmond made terrible plays at second base.

    This was huge for us.

    Now onto Game 7.

    what are my thoughts????

well Ohtani will start he’ll go 4 innings. What I want from him. Trust your stuff he has good stuff. But don’t Challenge Guerrero and Bichette. That has to be conveyed to him. And don’t challenge Springer. Meaning pitch them hard and inside. Take a page from your boy Yamamoto. Low and away. You can throw fastballs but mix them in. This team ambushed Ohtani and Snell two of our best players. Two of our best pitchers. I’d make sure on first pitches it’s stuff out the strike zone. Glassnows gotta get the message also. I liked his stuff last night.

So Glassnow for 2 Snell for two maybe 3 and I’m staying away from Sasaki. Roberts tipped his hand with saying Yamamoto is down. He only pitched 93 pitches. He can pitch 120 pitches. I got Yamamoto for the save in the 9th to get me 3 outs. Like the Giants did with Madison Bungarmer or even the Dodgers last year with Walker Buehler against the Yankees.

You can also go Glubowkski for 1.

as for the hitting we should be able to tax Shreerzer. This is a man who gave up 20 runs against a team in September.

I got us getting 4 runs at least 3 runs against him in the first inning this is our second time seeing him.

Yasslavage the rookie is going to come in. I’m guessing Shineider is going Shrezerr for 2 Depending on how it’s going Beiber and Yassslavage and then the bullpen guys. This game is winnable.

Ohtani is going to play his a** off. I got a home run from Ohtani in the first and two home runs for Freddie Freeman. And a big home run from Teoscar Hernandez maybe a 3 run home. Coming off the kid Yassalavage.

and I got Will Smith getting a home run. Mookie Betts will get a double.

Last night was a huge win. I got Dodgers winning this game big!!!!!!!!!!

    Dodgers 7- Blue Jays 2

That 9th inning was magical. The lodged dead ball. 0 outside, guys on 2nd & 3rd, and Glasnow somehow gets us out of it in only 3 pitches on a wild double play?! Magical.

    For tonight's pitching:

    Dreaming: Shohei 5, Glasnow 4

Realistic: Shohei 3, Glasnow 3, Snell 1, Wrobo 1, Sasaki 1. Sheehan, Dreyer, Klein if needed. JUST NO TREINEN.

    Legendary:

Bah Gawd, that's Yoshinobu Yamamoto's music!!!

    Ohtani vs. Scherzer confirmed.

With game 7's in baseball, the start is tremendously important. If you pitch zero's and dial up runs early, it's a huge advantage (like in 2017 vs. the Trashtros), but there have been dramatic comebacks (2019 Nationals vs. Trashtros)

I think it's going to take some type of magical moment from Ohtani (HRs? shut down innings etc.) to win this and more consistent hitting, putting the ball into play.

Toronto has played better and if Ohtani falters, it could be a nasty blowout ala Game 1.

All hands on deck with the starting pitchers being available to relieve as well except Yamamoto and (I hope not Kershaw just too much of a risk now). Glasnow barely got a warm up yesterday and might relieve Shohei. Maybe even Snell is available.

First inning: Ohtani singles, then as we've seen so many times, the following guys can't do anything. Freeman with another pop up and Betts with an easy grounder... they need to do something as Blue Jays will isolate Ohtani out of the game as this goes on.

Ohtani the pitcher looks a bit wild, excited. Springer sure loves hitting him...but Ohtani pulls through with two big K's and for some reason the injured ex Trashro ran on full count lol.

Middle of the lineup and Teoscar, please do something!

Second inning: Middle of the lineup sucks again. Missing like Casper yesterday.

Ohtani struggling, gives up two hits and lucky crippled knee Bichette can't run to home. But got that clutch gene and strikes out Gimenez. I think he's done for the day with his lack of command, it was a good enough performance, although nerve racking lol

OMG heart attack time twice with defensive plays in bottom of 9th. Both looked like scores and game over. Defensive gems.
