He's definitely improved and seems like a good kid with a good head on his shoulders, but he's still not close to being an NBA rotation player. Which is totally fine, he's a 20 year old former second round pick. You can see the outline of a good POA defender, but he's certainly not there yet. But from his comments the other day he seems to know that, which is good. If keeps progressing maybe he can get some real minutes in 2026-2027.

Disagree and could be wrong but I expect he will get some minutes this year.

He can go with his pops after next season. Lakers need to get out of the Klutch and James business. We've all had enough of that fill.

Bronny has a long way to go, but he looks quite a bit better than last summer for sure. His confidence in his shot is still not there, though I do think his misses are not as bad as before, and while his handle is improved he still loses the ball a lot. His defense is super solid though, he’s not afraid to guard anyone, he’ll body up a center, that’s cool to see, and he remains a really good passer with his dad’s feel for the game. I think he has a chance to be a solid defensive role player if he continues to get some leeway to develop at his own pace.

Jumpers not good enough. He's not enough of a playmaker but he's going in that defensive 3rd guard type. Defense looks good. His athletic ability really fits well in transition

3 point shooting just not on par to be an offensive ball spacer right now though. Can't see him getting minutes anytime soon till that gets beeter

His progress is visible but he started in a very low bar. Still 1-2 years away of a spot in the rotation of a contender. I think he would benefit of being in a team with no expectations, like Brooklyn. Developing Bronny and trying to win immediately doesn't match.

Still not worth a roster spot and Bron should have that in mind when he complains about the Lakers

I agree with all of this except for the “not a good playmaker.”
I’ve seen very good passes from him while playing with guys who won’t ever be in the League. It takes two to finish a great pass. Guys who can carve out space, seal off their man, and who’ve developed chemistry with the passes make for great receivers.
I think Bronny has a very good feel for the game and hasn’t tried to push his playmaking by trying wild passes with lesser talent.
He’s never going to be an Austin Reaves type secondary ball handler, but he doesn’t need to be. He can develop into a slightly worse version of Marcus Smart and have a very productive career.
Yes, his shot has a ways to go, but so many guys who started out poor shooters as rookies turned into to better than average ones over the course of their careers.
