Bazley is an interesting F with some skill if our development team can mold him a bit. Was all defensive team in G- League just a year ago. He's coming off a cup of coffee with the Guangdong Southern Tigers. Looks like a Klutch favor.
bazley's still around? really nice physical tools, athletic and graceful with good size and even some ball skills, iirc. gotta be shooting and hoop iq.
I know RJ Davis is small but man, when I watch his highlights the guy looks like he can really play both sides of the ball
Long clip from today July 3rd. Swider's a machine out there with the 3 ball. Too bad seems to be lacking in so many other areas. Of course game time with the varsity squad is a whole other ball game too for that 3 ball and making them under pressure. Meh .... whole last part of it is long Q&As with Bronny and Dalton. I got bored. Did catch early on one of DK's first answers on what he'd been working on and something something expanding his game. Didn't hear defense mentioned. Maybe later no idea, and didn't listen to all of Bronny's either.
It would be great to see Bronny, Goodwin, and the two two way bigs. Show some progress in the summer league. Goodwin should show out IMO.
Why isn't Olivari playing for us in the summer games? If someone already answered this I either missed it or forgot Both are possible
knecht said the game slowed down for him. let's see. that's the thing he needs to have happen to become a rotation player.
He's with the Nets summer league team. Probably saw a better opportunity on a tanking team to showcase himself.
From his interviews it sounded like Olivari wants to be in LA but also ready to get that contract and BKN is tanking for 2026. Besides DK, Bronny and Koloko, I'm most interested in seeing RJ Davis and Arthur Kaluma.
isn't bkn pretty crowded with youth right now, though? many of whom they just spent picks on? i liked what i saw from olivari, so i'm curious as to why nobody else agrees. i'm guessing they're all right, though. no way everyone just missed those flashes, so they must have seen some limiting factors i didn't.
Yeah, they took 3 guards in the draft. Their rotation is pretty full. That's not even including RFA Cam Thomas. BUT there's a level of unproven talent there. When you're a young player it's much easier to convince yourself you're as good as one of your peers than Luka or Austin, where both are penciled in for 35 minutes a night. Also, the roster the Nets are entering the year with will probably look quite different than the one they finish with.
