I asked a couple weeks ago if the number of guys in the league doing the crazy athletic stop on a dime reversing direction and jumping back …. landing and then jumping off that for all the “step back / leap back Js” maybe could be contributing? Kobe’s was sheer overwork and that wasn’t a big thing back then.

    Well.Congrats to Oklahoma with championship,but it's meh
They didn't impressed me and I don't pay attention for advanced stats ..and no f***ing way they are better than Oklahoma with Westbrook, Harden,KD and Ibaka

I will be watching FIBA Europe championship with more interest than the finals

This is one of the most subdued celebrations I've ever seen, especially for a franchise that never won it.

    What a mild celebration

Feels like the NBA quality of play going down the drain when they reward OKC like crazy. Congrats to the free throw merchants.

Was a great series until the Haliburton Achilles tear. Even then Indy kept fighting. Congratulations to OKC.

That Achilles tear cost Indy the Chip. OKC was playing scared and Hali was off to a great start with three threes in the first six minutes.
Oh well, Free Throw Merchant gets rewarded.

68 wins, all-time great point differential, and won the championship…but at no point did I feel like I was watching one of the best teams ever. I can’t put my finger on why that is.

With the right moves this summer, we can beat those guys. I think the key to beating their defense is playmakers with size, and we have two of the best ever. Get me a legit center and some athletes on the perimeter and let’s go to war.

What a meh championship. Sorry but nothing but disdain for OKC. Feels like what would happen if Harden wins a title

On top of that losing Hali Game 7 when he was playing well to just blows

Lebron would take a paycut in order to sign Beal at the MLE. I doubt it for this NAW kid, Beal yep.

Doesn't matter what the Lakers were before Lebron. That was almost a decade ago. You can't make decisions on players almost 10 years later because of your bad fortune before they arrived.

The infatuation with Lebron James stats and career is nauseating. He isn't winning and he will never be a 2nd option. Time to move on next year.

Shout out to Indy and their incredible season. Too bad about Haliburton, that injury is devastating.
Congrats to OKC for winning it all, they were my favorites from the start. But, I am convinced that, with competent center and a good PoA defender we can take them down.

    :No2:

He played just fine as the 2nd option to me. As long as he can still play at an All NBA level, there isn't any better option available for us. You are tripping dude.

Meh..All NBA isn't chopped liver, he's still a better player, than most of these young guys. And of course you already know, that if he retired tomorrow, we aren't getting anywhere close to 50M in cap space.

Feel really bad for Indy and Halliburton. That's a tough break, in the most important game of his career.

It really feels like achilles injuries blew up 3 teams this season and I'm not sure if any of them run it back.

    - The Giannis & Dame Bucks, does Giannis get traded now or during the season?
    - The C Bags that were looking like sure fire repeaters, are now going to trade pieces because of the 2nd Apron.
    - The Pacers, with Halliburton missing next season, most likely don't resign everyone to avoid paying tax.

Tough break in the East, next season should be a down year for that conference, before Boston and Indiana come back. Cleveland and the Knicks are best positioned to come out of the East next year.
