Rockets only halcourt offense is missing shots and get offensive rebounds . I'm not sure why some ( not talking about you) expect the Rockets to advance
We gotta win this game. Would you go with DFS or Vando in the starting lineup for Hayes? I like these in-series adjustments. I don't have the data, but I would basically start with our best 5. Make them uncomfortable from the start
Made the mistake of visiting the GD thread and I really wonder why some fans even watch the game at all. Just my personal opinion about sports..... If you have zero hope for your team, the team sucks, the players suck, the coaches suck....etc etc etc then don't want the game. I'm not telling people how to watch/cheer but man it's crazy the level of quit and hate people have for our team/players. OK, on to the main reason I chimed in here: This f'n officiating is hot garbage in this game. Minny is simply getting away with cheap shots against us. As I'm typing they are just reviewing the elbow to Brons head by Rudy. I think it was only called because Lebron reacted aggressively.
Sorry, I truly didn’t want to be right here, was hoping to be proven front, but Minny is deeper and better than us. They don’t fall apart in the clutch because they’re gassed like we do, that’s been the difference in the last 2 games, they stay consistent and we fall off. That’s what separates the good from the great this late into the season. We got pretty much nothing from our bench and starting C today and it cost us, and the series is basically over now. Oh well, I just hope Rob does some major work this summer to build around Luka, can’t come back with this same thing with a couple small additions and expect to be better with LeBron getting even older.
I’m not a big fan of complaining about the refs but good lord, every time the Lakers got momentum the refs would blow the whistle in favor of Mini. We’ve been getting hosed in both these games and it wasn’t being called even kind of fair
we are done guys, we played well today unfortunately the refs and team construction screwed us. can't win this series without rim protection and with 40 year old Lebron being our best defender
19 points in the 4th quarter is why we lost the game, especially when we were up 10. The roster isn't good enough and JJ hasn't utilised what he has enough. We got nothing from the bench We demand too much from luka and Bron so they are gassed in the 4th The offense in the 3rd quarter was excellent, ball was moving. Then it stopped moving in the 4th Luka is too slow getting into our offensive action This loss hurts man... Not sure we can win 3 in a row but just get the next one
lots of work to do this offseason. didn't expect a deep run with this flawed roster in the first place big man aside, need to improve that bench. can't be relying on the same 5 guys to play heavy minutes in a 7 game series and expect to win
Luka really needs an elite secondary ball handler to pair with IMO. And a couple of bigs with live legs.

- Luka needs to work on his conditioning this offseason, I get he played 45 minutes, but he’s 26 and shouldn’t be this gassed. - We need a big this offseason to provide some basic rim protection and be a lob threat on offense. Hayes ain’t it. - LeBron is not getting any younger. That’s all I have. We need to figure a way to conserve him for the playoffs and keep him healthy as much as possible. A big part of this has to be Luka/Reaves taking on most of the burden during the season. - I’m hoping Reaves grows from this. I think he met his match with the Twolves perimeter defenders and it’s been kind of embarrassing. - We need another DFS. He’s not perfect, but we have too many role players that are either good on defense and suck on offense, or vice versa.
JJ going all D’Antoni on us was not smart. Our guys were clearly gassed at the end of the game. But what it comes down is their role players are stepping up and ours are not. We don’t have anyone like Naz Reid or Jaden McDaniel’s who are consistently hitting shots and playing great defense. We don’t have a good matchup for Ant man or Randle. Luka has to pretty much make every play on offense and we’re getting into whatever sets we’re trying to run way too late and we’re having too take way too many contested shots late in the clock (at least late in the games). When we do generate good looks DFS, Rui, and Reaves aren’t knocking them down consistently.
