Unless Orlando just let him walk, a sign and trade for Bamba doesn't make much sense for anybody.

 

I liked the idea of a Bamba/Ross deal at the deadline for our THT package. They might take 190 lb Chet. But i have a hard time seeing him pass on Jabari Smith. He's BPA, especially with how really good wings have been showcased this postseason.

 

Mo is a bust as a lottery pick, but 24 years old, 7'1 with 11pts 8 rebs 2 blks and 38% from 3. He'd work next to AD if we only gave up Talen. I think his qualifying offer is around 10 million.

 

yeah, i'd like to take a look at reclaiming bamba, but i don't see why orlando doesn't make him an RFA, which takes us out of the bidding. i suppose if they found FAs worth spending big on that would come there, then maybe they'd just cut ties with bamba.

 

I’d take a swing at Bamba if we can. Theres potential for a good pairing with AD if he can continue developing from last season. He was finally relatively healthy and showed skill out there.

 

Not exactly a stacked free agent class, but it could trigger a robust trade market this season.

Ayton? Did you not just watch him get completely exposed? A big man who can’t take advantage of his size, can’t shoot the long ball, and is too slow to switch on D is worthless.

 

His loyalty is an anchor on his legacy. I respect it, but he’s served enough years at a Franchise that failed to properly build around him.

 

He wasn't worthless last season. He's not worthless now either.

 

The results prove otherwise.

I'd have to dig for it, but I feel like there were a couple of very complicated scenarios laid out by Twitter guys and reporters (including Picnus) where we could sign Lavine using a large trade exception.

Definitely a long shot, but I know I read that and will try to find it.

 

They went to the Finals and lost in a 7 game series. I'm not sure what results you are referring to in regards to the third option on that team.

 

I like LaVine but he's only played in 1 full season in his 8 year career. He did play in 67 games last season, which is the most he's played since he was in Minnesota. Maybe he's trending up on that front.
