    They're eccentric focused on explosiveness. He's not really doing a true squat, it's a specific motion tied to his athleticism. The wide base and the weight amount aren't designed to be a traditional lift. If he was doing traditional squats, he'd likely have a lot less weight on, close his stance, and get lower, but that's not really what he's doing here.

    To be honest, what looked least effective to me was the swimming motion on his leg raises.

    His workouts probably mostly look strange given his age and mileage. He needs to maintain his body, but he has very little margin for error. Eccentric loading is a good way for him to keep explosive power without putting that kind of big load on traditional squats that could hurt his knees or back. He might still do traditional squats, but I imagine he'd do it at only a moderate weight.

    It’s kind of neat that Lebron releases snippets of him working out. As much as I love Kobe, his workouts were generally tight lipped.

    Pics like this make it so much more real to me (hence the new avatar).

    I saw a post somewhere that pointed out: LeBron will probably pass Kobe in scoring, Magic in assists, and potentially even reach Kareem in overall points all while wearing our jersey.

    All I will say is y'all better not force his hand in making him use his stones. The rest of the mods and his recent victims have another term for his glove....Gone-tlet.

    That being said, Bron just got back from vacay...you don't go balls to the wall on your first day back. Also, cabin pressure and travel take alot out on that weary back of his...I'm sure he's just loosening that bad boy up for the real sessions that will commence shortly.

    All I'm saying is I hated Malone way more than this kid. And he really got to me last year with his Kobe esque performance. If he can do half of what he did last year with our young core. We are in for an exciting year. And if we get another star. Watch out! I'm officially on the LABron bandwagon. Always the name on the front of the jersey.
