    Well he is here so as a Laker faithful I'm all in. We were going to be a playoff team any way so the discussion is now championship.

    Took me a few hours to embrace it.

    The years flyby, literally, 1996-1997 season is so fresh in my mind still... then to have the league screw us on the CP3 trade, Kobe's bum knee, achilles blowout and retirement into full club rebuild mode.. man that was rough.. and now to have James is pretty admirable. The front office is really trying and went all in and I respect that.

    I haven't been this happy to watch basketball since Kobe's last game, I wish the season was next month.

    Reminder: the Cavs will pay Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance Jr. and George Hill a combined $65 million over the next two years (with the option to give a QO to Rodney Hood) in exchange for clearing up enough cap space for the Lakers to sign LeBron and another max-contract player.

    This is actually really interesting.

    A few days ago someone on ESPN (I think McMenamin) where they talked about Lebron wearing that same hat during a post game conference. “There is no magic pill”. The ESPN segment questioned whether Lebron was trying to send a hint about his free agency with that message.
