Kobe would not call himself the King of New York and tell fans “You’re welcome” for getting watch him do his thing. (Except in a pretend commercial speaker role) Sorry, but the narcissism and arrogance is undeniable with LLLLLebron. No doubt he’s an all time great, but he also makes me cringe at the deepest levels, and every fiber of my being gets dry heaves thinking about him on the Lakers.
You truly don't think Kobe would say things like that? Here is an article literally titled "The Most Egotistical Things Kobe Bryant has ever said" about the most arrogant things Kobe has said. There's dozens of pages I could post, but we both know I don't have to. To be honest I don't even like LeBron very much and nobody is denying that LeBron is a narcissist and an arrogant SOB, but I still want him on this team because I want the Lakers to be competitive again. There's no greater connection between a team and the playoffs than LeBron in the league today (and throughout the history of the league). He'd help the kids learn what it takes to be great and he would be able to do it at a time when he's still capable of getting there unlike Kobe in his old age. But probably the best thing he'd do is bring another star with him; one who is younger and has more years left (preferably George). The Lakers become immediately competitors, we have 4 years of Old Kang and after 4 years our core group will be: Ball (24), Ingram (25), and Kuzma (26). Hopefully you can also include Paul George (32) who would still have a couple solid years left before he starts to tail off. You might have been able to bring Zubac (24), Bryant (24), and Josh Hart (26) along. Hell there's an outside chance you kept Clarkson (29) and/or Julius Randle (26) who would be in their primes. I get you hate him and you spread that opinion far and wide, but I'm going to bring the same energy from the other side just to balance the scales.
Lebron is a classic case of you love him on your team..hate him if hes not. Whatever, that's okay. From what i seen so far.. I truly think if you add George and James we got a f***ing legit shot to give GSW a run for their money in a 7 game series.
I would watch the game between dry heaves I would And I didn’t find anything *THAT* bad in that article. More links plz
Damn Kuz, you really don't want to give up that starting 4 spot next year, huh? Haha. With that tweet, Kuz just pulled off the ever elusive and equally impressive shade on shade crime. #TheArtOfTheSubtweet
LeBron actually said that? Man he’s an unappreciative d***. Kyrie saved him from losing yet another Finals and all he does is disrespect the guy.
I guess I need to go add a couple new things to www.ihatelebron.com the self described "kang" is a gold mine of new material on a regular basis. Douchey is as douchey does.
It was a stupid thing to say, but no different from what we've been seeing all summer since that stuff went down. I'm not sure how much of it is real. Seems like a lot of pageantry.
Gimme Paul George and Boogie this summer. Don't need LBJ next season and his soon-to-be-fading-33-year-ol'-a$$ with our young core. It's exactly what he needs is a youthful rangy crew to do all the defending and hustle work while he withers and pad his stats. He will still be a big contributor but by 33 (I don't care how exceptional of a physical specimen he's been to date), nobody with the kind of athleticism he's relied upon is still firing on all 12 cylinders anymore. He's a Ferrari, but a 575 Maranello with 100,000 miles on it now, not a new 812. Does anyone doubt in the near-term he will become less effective on D, shut that down and concentrate on all-time greatest offensive stats? He saw what we did for Kobe here. The Farewell Tour. I'm not ready for that s*** again.
love you Kuz! and that quote is a perfect microcosm of why i would hate lebron on this team. yes kobe was arrogant and cocky too but it just seemed different to me.
No thanks! I'll take LeBron and the Playoffs. Seems exactly the same to me as every other jerk who is great. It'll be better than what we have now and when we're winning 50 games I'm sure you all will come around to LeBron's 34 year old ***. Especially since I laid out why that would be so useful. Or we can keep winning 35 games for the next 4 years. Maybe that'll be more fun.
