    He may not have been a great pitch man, but he got us Pau for Kwame, and all those little extra pieces that made up the bench mob and got us 2 titles. I'll forever be grateful for that.

    wasn't west still the GM from 00-02?

    anyways, sucks to see mitch after all he's done for this franchise but at this point, it had to happen. guy pulled off some great moves with his magic wand. thank you for pau and building those 09-10 title teams. wish him the best of luck in the future, just glad he's out of this mess.

    Thank you Mitch Kupchak from 1981 as a Laker, to 1985 body bumping Lurch in The Finals and being a quiet, reserved GM. You weren't perfect but no one is. I wish him the best in his post-Laker endeavors.

    Mitch wasn't perfect, but I've always had great respect for him. Thank you, Mitch, for helping us win all those championships! I have to be honset: I am sad to see him go.
