It’s not a matter of relying on him, it’s a matter of he’s so bad at finishing it’s not even an option. It would be nice to have the option for your big to be able to put the ball in the hoop on these sorts of plays in backup minutes. The fact that his touch is so bad and it will look like that if we go to him scares me. Because sometimes you’ll have a guy in during a big game where your other big fouled out, or is injured, or resting, and in big games sometimes every possession counts. That’s all I’m saying, I just wish there was a path to just a bit more competent of a player there. Again, I could not stand watching Drummond play because of this type of thing.

I've been wanting the Loon on our team for years, I'm stoked. Every time he grabbed an offensive board, they were all offensive at the time...lol, and dunked it on us I wanted that on our team. You guys will be changing your tune when we start showing some toughness on the court. The Loon will be growling and dunking and quickly become a fan favorite. I'm buying a Loon jersey.

Think of it this way. Looney was on three championship teams, and he was no better at scoring the ball then than now. But he contributed in other areas. I'd rather have a bench player who makes really good contributions in a couple of ways and sucks in others rather than a guy who is mediocre in everything.

I just don’t think he’s that same guy physically anymore. But we’ll see, I certainly hope last year was an outlier and he gets closer to what he was before that, we’re going to need that.

i don't know if it's consolation or further despair, but drummond came off the board first. there's just not a lot out there in the center market, which has been hard to work on for years. freaking zubac went for the #5 overall pick, a future first, and mathurin. and people think we paid a lot for kessler!

He is going to be better than ever this season. Rested up, healed up, mentally ready to make a statement. Rob keeps hitting singles with a few doubles, adds up to a big inning and a run at a championship. Party at Toklat's afterwards. Ambers and smoked salmon for everyone. I won't torture you with moose meat...lol.

Edit: Midnight sun waterskiing as well!!

Frigid lakes and rivers, more exciting dodging debris. Water is cold enough there won't be any big balls...lol.
