He may be be a rotation player before Adou. Just needs strength. AR basically the same height came in at 197lbs. If he can put on 5-7 this summer it might go a long way. Smooth!
Step on the breaks slow your roll LT, lower the expectations on our next superstar and multiple rings bringer Cam Carr
What? Just because I said he’s smooth, needs some weight work? You just grouse about stuff. He looked like our only half way maybe a player some day out there.
Yeah, he’s going to be a contributor soon. He just needs to get stronger, but you can definitely tell he’s an NBA player. We got lucky here, I think.
like all the different ways he can score. the only thing that's not there is just iso scoring, which we absolutely don't need. on defense, it will just be a matter of caring enough and then getting up to the speed of the real nba game, which will take a while. but he looks like he shouldn't be spending much time in the g-league.
We traded one place because New York wanted to trade out of the first round to get rid of salary. We got lucky he fell to us and like I said, he is going to be an elite cutter and an elite shooter soon. If he can develop defensively, you have a perfect 3 next to Luka and Reaves.
Never change, LB. LMFAO. Nice first game. I hope it continues. It would be nice if we pencil him in the rotation to be an innings eater this season. I think he's more of a 2 with his frame right now, possibly could play some 3 in certain matchups, but it's going to be a question of, who could he hang defensively? Offensively, he has enough juice to stay on the floor.
i think there are minutes in the guard rotation, but not a ton when everyone's healthy. there are 96 guard minutes (i consider luka a forward, as i define positions defensively, mostly). reaves will play 30+, and grimes will play 30. sexton will probably be a 24+ guy, too. so when all three of those guys are healthy, that's leaving 12 minutes or less for someone else. that's going to be carr, bronny, or hardy, as of now. bronny probably has the inside track if he stays here, but i'm not sure if that's going to happen. but our top three guards will definitely miss time, and i think carr will get his 20+ minute looks during those stretches.
Yeah, that's fine. I just temper expectations when it comes to regular season basketball, but I do like his game. If he gives us what you're describing in the reg season with respect to minutes and he's productive, that would be help a great deal with this roster.
like most rookies, he's probably going to be a bit of a mess, and we'll have to survive his minutes and hope he can just hold the line. but i think he's going to be with the varsity most of the year. same with thiero, actually.
^ Works for me. I'll deal with the mess and mistakes. We emptied most of the clip for Kessler, and we have to develop youth. Should be a mandate.
