Smart for the Lakers to bide their time.Teams and players are going to have to make some sacrifices soon and they should be in the mix.Hopefully the things fall into place for them

nawh. They need to let it go through. Its better for the NBA. Kawhi get to form a team to combat Lebron in the east. Then the Clippers to move on.

Here we go again with the minimization of what he and his uncle were allowed to ask for and have done by the Clippers under the table, when Jeanie told them to go pound sand. NO.

I cant prove Dirk Dirk etc massive pay cut given what he was offered by other teams. But to think he turned that much money down just to be loyal to Dallas dont add up. If you dig deep enough i wont be surprise to find he was paid under the table.
does this look like shark tank Cuban? Dirk Nowitzki's post-playing business career centers on strategic startup investments, corporate partnerships, and mentorship from former Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. its strange Duncan took a pay cut in 2012 the same time Black Jack popped up.

I don't care what YOU can prove. And it's NOT better for the NBA to not do anything. What a horrible take.

Wolves and Joe Smith got screwed over… Torre covered all bases in this Aspiration fraud and yet Clippers will get away with it for the Clips to move on lol

They can fine both parties remove picks or what ever but not restrict the league. At this point they are punishing Raptors who simply just want to execute a trade.

    Here are facts.

Nowitzki pay cut the hometown discount isn’t just that. There are other opportunities. He had lots of opportunities with the mavericks and Cuban.

The reason Kawhi did it because he knew he was doing it before. This was way before the aspiration.

Jerry West paying his boy. The Clippers were doing all kinds of illegal s***. Going into a new arena in Inglewood. Ballmer wanted Kawhi. The free agent signing was validation of someone signing with the Clippers hey he got his toilets.

But other teams do it. Knicks Jalen Brunson.

Lebron Philly. I think there is a Lebron Philly thing with Rubin Mike Rubin fanatics and Lebrons stake when he retires he’ll have his jersey sales that he gets paid for with the fanatics licensing. Players can’t make money off of Jersey sales that’s fanatics but LeBron can. The Jersey sales are a league thing with the deal they have with fanatics.

    4. Gary Trent Jr. Milwaukee he got that Max??? Yeah right.

The Clippers are guilty as f***. No the league isn’t going to be forget about it. The Raptors knew what they traded for. Kawhi is a repeat offender. A player who doesn’t give a f*** and wants to get paid. The players union will fight it and litigate it. And it will get nasty.

Based on the protocol with Ja Morant.

I see Kawhi getting wait for it. 44 games. And a fine of $100,000

Uncle Dennis banned from basketball representation. Some times you know how penalties will be handed down how players conduct themselves. Kawhi already has new representation.

Steve Ballmer owners set the example. Silver won’t go light. He does work for the owners. I see a year suspension from the Clippers and a 1 million dollar fine.

These will be the penalties when they come back with the findings.

see you guys can’t just look at stars. Rules are rules. There’s been cap circumvention all over the league.

Udonis Haslem was cap circumvention always got those contracts. Just because he was a hard practicer and respected veteran. He could’ve went somewhere allowed Miami to sign other players and win championships. And yet he still kept getting paid.

Exactly Knecht's salary. Perfect team for him too as they have a big lack of talent, notably outside shooting and Knecht already shown he can score a lot if given the opportunity.
    Definitely worth a punt.

Hope we can convince them, it's such a no-brainer.
I'm guessing we're still hoping to use Knecht in a trade for a wing starter/center backup and that's why we're holding out on him
