@abeer3 …. Cameron or Billy Richmond? How would you compare them?

Well, we are under the cap and maybe Walter thinks he can trade the guys when needed AND he can afford all of this. If Walter is buying all this then I just don't care, he has the money to deal with it. Sheeeit happens. I am more than happy to wait and see.

Carr was higher on my personal draft board because of the offense. He was my early target, then it seemed the league caught on and he was mocked late lotto everywhere (about where I’d put him—ahead of say, both of the infallible Presti picks). Richmond was high on my fallback list; be curious to see if he improves his shot.

I don’t mind the contracts, but the NBA doesn't really work like that. The way the cap and apron work in the NBA means a rich owner can't just buy himself the best roster.

If for example the contracts he gave out to Grimes and Mamu don't pan out and those contracts end up having negative value, you can't simply spend more to get quality replacement players. We're over the cap, and now will be for at least the next several years. We'll primarily just have some iteration of the MLE to spend each season.
