i'd say either size or quickness, depending on where you're trying to play him. hard to imagine his position on either end, if that makes sense.

What, you don’t like Adonyl Foyl as an announcer?
At least he’s better than Gary(Peter Griffin) St. Jean who inexplicably gets paid for what he does. I guess he was a decent coach back in the 80s, but his commentary is comical.
Man, I still miss Chick. We were spoiled for so many, many years. I felt like I lost a Grandfather and cried like a baby when I heard of his passing.

First half thoughts, Carr looks just as good as he did before Vegas, under control, making shots with confidence, couple of blocked shots. Adou looks better today, more under control, only fallen a once or twice, has 3 great dunks, one was a lob from a standstill, just went up and got it, crazy hops. Also has some nice passes. Team has been fun to watch overall as well, a lot of good ball movement. On the negative side, Kurt Rambis is at the game next to Pelinka, why tf is this dude still involved in basketball stuff to this degree. Still haven’t hired that assistant GM we were supposed to.

    First Half

Carr's got skill. He picked up the offense late in the 1st Q after a couple nice blocks. Then continued the offense to start the 2nd. Got robbed on a sweet J and shoulda been and 1. Liked seeing him talking some trash after hitting a shot in the 2nd Q.

Kyle had good minutes. His energy really popped, even more so than Thiero (much less skilled), but as soon as he entered he's poking a ball away. Then got a steal but had awful handles on the fast break. Couple nice passes from up top, lob to Thiero and then caught Kaluma on a back cut that got Kaluma an and 1. Unfortunately, Kyle had one of the worst forms on a FT I've seen. My god!

Kaluma has a purpose the second he gets the ball. Decisive and did a good job attacking the rim, no matter where he was starting from.

Okereke has terrible awareness when he's on the corner. Another foot on the line out of bounds. Every game.

Thiero's 3 ball still not where it needs to be. He got a couple of awesome highlight dunks in the span of 60 seconds late in the 2nd Q. Hops are there for sure.

WHY IS KURT AT THE f***ING GAME NEXT TO ROB?

And now we may loose Stu as well. Danny Green or Fisher as replacements. Holy hell.

Adou was ballin’ in the 3rd. Yeah it’s summer league, OKC doesn’t have a good team, but I’ll take him building some confidence any way I can get it. He’s raw for sure, I don’t know how much he’ll actually play this season, but there’s potential there, he is showing steady improvement.

    2nd Half/ Overall

So Thiero just doesn't respect the Cali Classic? Cause he did work in that 3rd Q. Much more in control. Put on a dunk contest. Got a couple SportsCenter highlight blocks. Just him jumping scares OKC into losing the ball. Only complaint is the 3. Couldn't hit a one of them.

Nice close to the game by our two young summer league stars. Thiero had to come back in to make sure we didn't give away the W.

OKC even gets the refs in their pocket in SL. The Suder foul was a bad call, Carr foul when he had a shoulder dropped in him was a bad call. I'm not sure the Thiero block they wiped away wasn't clean either. They ignored Carr getting smacked on his final drive of the game.

I'm firmly all in on the dump Suder and Okereke's two way spots and give them to Kyle and Kaluma.

Yeah I’m not seeing it with Okereke especially, and aside from some hilariously bad dribbling, Kaluma had a great game. Kyle was good too other than the FT, good lord what was that form. Thiero and Carr were fun as hell to watch though, Carr even got a 2nd late dunk in after faking a pass, they were having some fun. I’m not seeing a Knecht repeat with him at all, he definitely needs to add muscle and his defensive awareness isn’t the best ever, but it’s worlds better than Dalton’s, and he just does stuff out there Knecht never did, he acts like he belongs. I guess what I’m saying is he seems like a relatively smart player, where Knecht seems like maybe one of the…least smart I’ve ever seen.

    I don't understand

And I need to go wash out my eyes.

Definitely some early chemistry building there with those two. Their size and athleticism just makes for fun watching. After DK and JHS, these two are such a breath of fresh air.

Well the difference is processing speed, general IQ, length and athleticism. There's Matt Harpring-esque athleticism and then there's a taller, longer Shannon Brown out there. I'll let you figure who's who. Even if Carr gets burned, he's long and fast enough to recover and probably get a block or at least a contest. DK gets burned and it's because he didn't realize the ball got in bounded and it's through the net before he moves.

Muscle is a must for Carr, but he knows that. First interview that's what he mentioned. So i hope we have the sufficient staff to get him on the right plan both with diet and in the gym. If I see a photo of Kurt spotting him or delivering him a hello fresh box, I'm going to lose it.

Ummm …. the final score was actually 98 or 99-81 Lakers not 96-84. First half the score was Lakers 35-30 Lakers ball. Pass to one of our two guys down low who dishes to the other for either a 2 or a 3 (I forget now) and some mensa put 3 points up for OKC on the running Prime score making it read 35-33 incorrectly and it never got caught and corrected. It was a negative 5 or 6 point swing in error against us the rest of the game.
