Possibly booking everyone to the Lakers and maybe we get one so you could say i told you so? If so, that's a good strategy lol.

 

riley cheating again? i knew wiggins opting out for a longer lower money deal was possible or even likely, but i think he gave up a ton here. he had thirty million in his pocket for this year. does he really believe he might not be a 2-year mle player after this season? because that's all it would have taken to get to that figure. that's the very opposite of betting on oneself lol.

 

I'm sure Wiggins likes Miami a lot and Florida has no state income tax. I'm sure Draymond is going to do the same for the Warriors. Sign a longer contact for less per year.

yeah, he may not be asking 50 (though he would have gladly taken that PO last year), but i also find it to be a huge amount of b******* that we're supposed to bow and scrape while he threatens to play for less elsewhere.

we wanted him but he had a relationship with gs. i still like him, but yeah, he can't seem to stay on the floor. thybulle-ish.

 

God, I feel sick to my stomach seeing this. Here's hoping we can poach Tari Eason from Houston as retaliation though.

If I had to wager a guess on what free agents the Lakers sign right away tomorrow, I'd lean towards Mitchell Robinson, Quentin Grimes, Ziaire Williams and Dean Wade all being targets. Basically bench pieces to replace and hopefully improve our depth, though I suppose Grimes could wind up being one of our starters.

Past that, I'd have to imagine we're trying to get something done to try and finally land Walker Kessler and acquiring Eason seems relatively doable to me too. If that doesn't pan out though... this is going to be a very rough summer.

A good rim-protector decreases the need for a point-of-attack defender. As much as I love Duren, he is more of an average rim protector at best. Kessler fits this a lot more.

We "snuck" getting LeBron all those years back, it just feels like maybe this is all a smokescreen for whatever LeBron, Luka, and Pelinka want to happen...

I think we are going to lose some people we hate to lose. Maybe Rui and Smart, but I wonder if we will get others that we need like Kessler and Duran or Peyton and Kessler or something like that....there is a lot of noise...noise that feels normal, and noise that feels abnormal and now I am curious about it.

Also, why would GS have it come out that Jimmy wants to be there forever, just to say "But we are likely to trade him to Washington to get AD and get LeBron."

Also, why does Washington say yes to Jimmy after drafting AJ....that doesn't feel like a style that works for them AND Trea.......
