Wow... a lot of decent talent getting moved for 2nd rd picks lately. I wish we hadn't given up 8 of them for Luka's pal DFS! :Bangbrick4:

Yet Abeer keeps telling me that, it's really not much difference between Presti and Pelinka.

[Keith Smith] One note on potential Jalen Duren sign-and-trade scenarios: If Duren is anywhere near his max amount on a new deal, Base Year Compensation will kick in as part of a S&T. Keeping it simple: Makes it far easier for a cap space team to acquire Duren vs an over-the-cap team.

Yeah the hypocrisy is strong with this one. (@Idawg)

    :Adburn:

… ”yeah but .. but better ‘Fit’ “. like Detroit didn’t need their Ace Big man to step up in the playoffs too after the team being great in the unimportant regular season.

Might be more of an option when Vando is on an expiring, but not now, IMO.

Robinson playing 50 plus games will do well for us. Is this before or after Austin or Luka get hurt?

    Duren stays in Detroit, IMO.

So on top of the “better” players you want … you want the ones with no injuries guarantees too?

I don't want them to constantly be hurt come PO time, and then you start making excuses as to the quality of their play and why it sucks; you're the master of excuse making; "oh, he was hurt..." "oh, he this, he that..." but you're the constant homer, so I can't blame you.

No. I like Duren, but then we would still have to trade for a good secondary player to run the offense.
Fixing one hole while creating another.
M hoping Duren is mad enough to jump ship and we can just sign him into cap space.

Siegel reporting we are thinking of offer the full MLE to Mitchell Robinson. Guy is an excellent backup. Hayes is a great 3rd option. Who starts?

That means we’re an over the cap team? How do we retain smart? And that kills our idea of RFA offers if we do that. So we might be angling for a S&T if we want Duren / Kessler.

Very much up in the air right now.

    Duren isn't coming.

Ainge will want a massive overpay for Kessler.

^My boy can't get even the quote train right. Such a shame. Maybe one day he'll get his basketball knowledge up once he can get an understanding of how to use quotes on LB.

    Such a shame.

HA … pot meet kettle you did one of those yourself not many days ago. Remember tough guy internet warrior?

    :Fishwink:

Answer the question. Can’t count on Luka either. Blow it all up is the answer? Hammy problems from his size sudden deceleration might be a b**** going forward. Who are these championship capable guys you know won’t come up with an injury?

Injuries happen; I'm not saying they don't, but what I would suggest is refraining from signing players with a propensity for "injuries" when our 1 superstar and our Fake star had injuries last year; why would we want to compound that problem by signing Mitchell Robinson and Robert Williams? Does that make any sense to you? Do you comprehend?

Well OK scratch Mitch off the list too. No sweat we got LOTS of doable options here. Who doesn’t get injured. Kessler LOL. Is Duren that guy? No idea. Of course I comprehend.
