I'm one win away, from retracting all Rob Pelinka criticism, for this campaign.

 

LOL. Hopefully at least a few of the hard core others as well. Just a complete mob on LG though.

weird that stevens gets it. to me, that is all about coaching. pretty much any a****** can sell holiday and porzingis for spare parts and let horford and kornet walk. it takes a magician to make walsh, scheierman, and queta able to step into some of those roles, though.

i'd go with the atlanta guy. even if they did trade for gabe, lol.

 

Rob put in work this campaign. Salute

Rob Delinkus needs to be the first transaction executed tomorrow.

 

He did a very good job last summer. The team got better, Smart and Ayton were great pick ups at the price and LaRavia was a nice find. It seems there's a prototype of player they are trying to find in the margins: young, smart, resilient and hard worker. Jake didn't end the season well but it was his first run with a competitive team and he can only grow.

Looking forward for this summer, most important summer of the Lakers in the last decade or so and a make or break for Rob I think. I'm confident he will pull it off

 

this one is the make or break summer that everyone has insisted every other summer has been, imo.

we made some sacrifices to put ourselves in this position, and it's up to rob (and whomever is helping here...somebody please?) to make good on it. if we bring back the roster and trade 2 1sts and dead weight for wiggins, we could have been here already, lol.

Sounds like he wants to bring back Bron, Austin, Rui and Smart.

I'm so curious as to their big board, contract expectations of both our guys and FAs.

There's a lot of variables that have to go bizarrely in our favor for this summer to be the success that Rob needs for sustained job security.

 

The moves to bolster the front office continue to be encouraging. Rob will get a chance to show he can work with the new group.

 

I feel like bringing back those guys does make a lot of sense. The team had glaring holes but also seemed to just be a few players away. We're going to have to work some cap gymnastics to make everything work, but trying to add to that group does make sense to me.
