all of the above, but especially this. they're both weak defenders, and we let them off the hook with turnovers and failure to hunt them. they've been comfortable putting sengun on lebron in isolation, so we need to find the matchup that's uncomfortable for them (reaves, obviously, but maybe even kennard, tbh). to be fair, i think jj tried rui in the post against sheppard (which makes sense) and it didn't work well (which is why rui's heading for a sizable paycut).
That was never going to happen. But back to reality: JJ did a great job having them ready to close this out tonight.
What a weird way to phrase it. How about instead: JJ out coaches and closes out in form young team without his two best players.

That was a good series from him. Overall I think JJ has been more good than bad and though I can still quibble about the hiring process, the gamble we took seems to be paying off. He has more room to grow (as expected) but he has proven he can coach. I never thought his job was in jeopardy. He was going to get at least one more year absent Luka demanding a new coach.
