Yeah I agree, their offense still stinks. Our offense comes from Lebron, AR, Rui, Ayton, Luke and Smart. We need at least 3/6 of those players to have their regular offensive games. Keep the turnovers down and we'll win Game 6. It's really not a tall task.

Gauge my perception on digital content? It goes into the record books, we would be the ONLY team to ever blow a 3-0 series lead, in the history of the entire NBA. I do not want that associated with my favorite franchise.

Yes, losing to OKC in a beat down is better than having the stain of blowing the 3-0 lead. Everyone will excuse that because we don’t have Luka, and everyone hates OKC right now. I disagree that everyone else would know what happened too, people would forget the why in a few years and we’d just be that team that blew the lead no one else ever had. Context will disappear just like teams that win easy rings in lockout shortened seasons or against a team that lost their star or stars to injury, the history books only remember that the title happened. I hope our guys can muster one huge performance and just wrap this up.

basically exactly my analysis of the last game. i wish the reporter would have pressed him a bit on the turnovers. smart opened the door by saying he had 6 TOs and 2 assists, and the reporter said jj referenced "looking for plays" or whatever--i'd like to hear from lebron or smart as to why they were so out of sorts with the passing in this game in particular. why now?

great question about smart's experience coming back from 3-0 to force a game 7. hopefully, he's clueing his teammates into the mindset difference in the other locker room and why that's mattering a lot right now.

one thing jj/lebron/smart need to do as leaders is reframe what's happening right now: we're not "losing the series", we instead "still have a chance to pull off a pretty significant upset". hammer this home. the second you start playing not to lose, you're toast. we did that last game, for certain. they're playing with the mindset of "making history as the first team to come back from down 3-0" which is a VERY EASY psychological space to inhabit. we can't be playing to avoid being the first team to lose a 3-0 lead. focus on the positive: nobody picked us to win this series. nobody. lebron and smart are too old. kennard too limited. ayton too harebrained. can't possibly beat houston without luka.

Scott Foster, aka The Extender, has officially been assigned as Crew Chief for Game 6 of Lakers-Rockets.

see you in game 7. i watched a game he officiated earlier this week, and he was clearly favoring one of the teams. can't remember which game i was watching, but i had no rooting interest and was just like, wtf is that guy doing? every call he made was questionable for like a 4-minute stretch.

i agree with folks that have asked how he's still employed. just so much evidence that he's not on the level. makes you think the league agrees with it...

Apparently, Houston is 1-9 in Scott Foster refereed playoff games in the past 10 years! He was there during their infamous 27 missed 3's explosion vs the KD warriors.

oh, so he might fix it FOR us. whatever, he's a bad ref, and i don't like him officiating games.

Even if the favoring certain teams in certain situations thing was completely baseless, which its not, you'd think that the NBA wouldn't want one of their officials to be widely known among basketball fans as The Extender lol.

The Extender is an awesome nickname though. They should lean into it and just make the refs part of the game, they already have for OKC
