Yikes that last landing's not going to help, but yeah 2 more games help South Bay win a chip if it's possible (?) and then carry it over to where JJ feels he can use you again on the varsity for some offense off the bench (real big ???)
still don't think he's a fully lost cause. that said, a bunch of those drives are the same ones he can't execute against nba-level talent. the one where he drives straight down the middle and finishes with the left over the contest was probably the only one that i thought could translate against nba competition.
I’ve always thought that the coaching staff should’ve made him Luka and AR’s understudy and patterned his game game like theirs as a insurance policy instead of forcing him in the corner and making him like Luke Kennard. He’s got a few more tools in the toolbox than he gets to exploit.
..... maybe. Then again the tools in HIS toolbox upstairs aren't nearly as sharp. He does have more though than standing in the corner. But probably why .... with them .... and his athleticism he hasn't figured out how to be more successful at the rim with his high % of rejections on dunk attempts.
So JJ called up DK NSJ KB then not play them when they were needed in the semifinal games to at least be in the GLeague finals.
