beggars can't be choosers, and i still don't see the need to upgrade anywhere but the perimeter. the better options here are likely going for more than we even have to offer, much less are willing to.

but we'll see. couple weeks until the deadline.

Meanwhile.. Vucevic is avg 21pts 5 assists 8 rebs with 9 blks in his last 5 games. This dude has been a starter and avg a double double with over 30min a game for the last 19 seasons. That's against everyone, he's not exactly getting played off the floor because of his defense.

We could use that kind of production to pair with Ayton, and keep a decent big on the floor, for most of the games.

so...i'll tell it...if you want to win, hayes has been better than either of those guys this year. i don't care about vuc's counting stats. they've always been good. his teams have rarely been good. it's hard to believe this is pure coincidence at this point.

....I'm honestly not expecting much if anything at all at this point but we will see.

Hayes has not been better than Ayton or Vucevic this year, what are you smoking man? Vucevic would be here to play a role, Not be a main cog...I couldn't care less about Chicago's record. They didn't have a Luka, Lebron or Austin, so that's irrelevant to me too.

Sacramento and Memphis haven't been exactly balling with Ellis or KCP either

I don't know how you could watch 42 games of this team and think Nikola Vucevic is anything close to what we need

There isn't a POA defender available that's better than Marcus Smart! There I said it!

It’s the Westbrick Argument all over again. I don’t know why you guys are falling for it, again.

pure, 100%...metrics that examine how the team performs when a player is on the floor. this is less about hayes being great and more about ayton and vuc both being more meh than pts/rebs suggest. vuc being neither a vertical threat nor able to defend outside the paint nor protect the rim very seriously makes him a very strange figure after which to pine. if you have a team of rangy athletes who need a center who can defensive rebound, pass, and shoot, vuc is your man. that is soooo not us.

ellis and kcp have been functioning parts of successful teams, kcp in particular (here!). both would play small roles here, but roles we have nobody in. vucevic would come in and displace guys who already play his role as well as he does.

Meh..You haven't watched this guy play much..ever probably. I suggest that you catch a few Bulls replays.

Just looking at some numbers here..

He would be our leading rebounder 384 rebs

Vucevic has made 73 3pt shots. That would make him 2nd of this team behind Luka.

He has 159 assists..that would place him 3rd behind Lebron.

He has 28 steals..that's 3rd on this team behind Jake.

26 blks makes him 2nd to Ayton.

He shoots 80% from the FT line, and 37% with volume from deep. He sets great screens and is adept at fading out to the 3pt line, off the P&R . We can't we use a player like that?

Versatility is a strength too, and this guy unlocks a lot of different looks for us. For Gabe and Maxi? He's an absolute steal at that price.

    Vucevic is shooting 3
If Timme from Temu can make a few ,so can't you imagine what Vucevic can do
yes he should be signed yesterday, even day before last season
I suggested him a few seasons ago
but was told that he is too old
    Ayton isn't even close

    lol ok.

this is also your fantasy, as the bulls haven't just sold a starter on an expiring in...forever?

i'd wager they don't move him for dead weight like gabe/kleber. they're probably trying to upgrade; otherwise they'll just keep him and maybe use his bird rights to re-sign him above the mle as a trade asset/starting center next year.

we always want the bulls to tank, and they don't do it.

Do not want Vuc. Too expensive, no D, and scoring is not our issue. Would only consider it if Luka really wanted him.

Don't want KCP anymore. Wanted to keep him beyond the Bubble but that ship sailed two years ago. If he was on the roster instead of Gabe right now, I'd be looking to move him at the Trade Deadline.

I want only younger, athletic pieces that can stay in front of their man on D.

kcp can still keep people in front of him. i want 25 year old kcp too, but we can't afford that.

lol. every time i see him this year i just imagine goodwin in his roster spot and my blood lightly boils.
