I think it goes to quality depth, and never letting up attacking the opponent. But wow, the separation is

    we are WAY back there

I think the bench scoring point lacks complexity and isn’t painting the correct picture. We’ve had all of our starters miss time:

    Lebron - 16 games
    Luka - 7 games
    Reaves - 11 games
    Rui - 7 games

As a result we’ve had Smart and LaRavia who are our most important bench players starting. Both are averaging 10pts but that doesn’t count toward the bench when they’re starting. Our other bench players who can score are Gabe who is injured, Knecht who is lost and Hayes who is a backup C.

TL/DR: it’s a stupid metric, we’ve had our starters injured so our best bench players (Smart and LaRavia) are starting and not contributing to our bench pts total, and the other bench players are disappointing in Gabe and Knecht.

Another point is, we could just as easily out Reaves and Rui to the bench and have a better points total. Doesn’t really change the outcome.

It's hard to win NBA games playing 1 on 5, therfore, we should have sat Luka for this one.

    Easy to predict loss.

Such an odd team: every loss has been by double digits but also we're undefeated in the clutch.

Good job Luka. Thanks for trying.

With Dalton and Gabe they kinda of expected more than 9 out of 39 3 points shots

Bottom line is we gotta move DK, Gabe and Maxi. 3 deadwood roster spots.

    Lakers lose to SA

I would say look at our 3 point shooting at 23%

    But SA shot 16%

But they shot only 25 3's

    We shot 39

If it's not working do something else and don't live at the 3 line

Spurs have more rotation-caliber players than us even if we're healthy and we were far from healthy last night.

Hard not to shoot 3’s when Wemby is in the paint.

At this point, this is exactly what I expected from these two.
They have shown they can’t be relied upon.
Oh well, on to the next game.

Lakers are now 13-1 in "clutch" games after losing to MIL 105-101, after Luka got called for fouling Kevin Porter Jr on a 3 FGA in the waning seconds, Luka's 6th foul in a game in which he shot 8 for 25 and only 50% from the FT line. A very bad game from Luka, who if he hasn't been hitting from 3 (lately he's been really bad), he makes a lot of 2 pointers and a lot of FTs. Tonight he was 4 of 5 from deep but couldn't make his 2 pointers or FTs.

Old Man: 26/9/10 with 3 steals in 33 mins. In crunch he drove to the rack and Giannis blocked his shot, then (next time down?), Lebron got around Giannis to drive to the rack but Giannis reached around from behind and knocked it free: Bucks steal. Yes I wrote "reached around." Now's your chance for a joke. Don't say I never gave you anything.

We lost a game we've been winning all year. It was a rough one to lose. Only 2 Lakers shot any FTs: Bron (4 for 6) and Luka (4 for 8).

I'm impressed with Jake this year.

Feels like AR's been out for 2 months.

I didn't think that was a foul by Luka. Didn't see the contact.

The Old man tried, but Giannis is still in his prime. That block and steal were huge down the stretch.

I don’t blame LeBron for that block and steal. But he took two three pointers before hand, trying to bury the Bucks and go up 6 points with under 2 mins to play.

Neither of the threes fell and Milwaukee drew level. The foul on Luka was really unfortunate and the turning point. Shame really, we should have won this one.

We’re really good in the clutch and play with a lot of effort compared to normal.

Lost a game we could have and should have won

Lost the 2nd 37-27 and never came over it

    Role players

    Jake 12 pts 2 reb 2 ast 2 stl

    Vando 9 pts 9 reb 2 ast

We shot 42% from the 3 line on 36 shots and still lost
