I see you’re now placing bets against the Lakers so you can pay me when Walter still has him here in three more seasons Mr all about the name on the front of the jersey. LOL it’s a measly hundred bucks.

guessing that's fake, but i keep reading that sabonis seems available, and that surprises me a bit, tbh.

probably not the best fit here, but if you can get him for picks and spare parts, you just do it and figure out the rest, lol.

if the fake news breaker had subbed lavine for sabonis, i'd have believed it--and i've kind of warmed to such a trade for us. i think i get roped in by lavine once a year.

i can imagine worlds in which getting him would be similar to the nuggets getting gordon--a guy miscast as a #1/#2 who slots very nicely as your third or fourth best player.

Can't shoot, too brittle, problems off the court.

No thanks. I'd rather deal with an overrated Reaves on Lakers forums thatn a gun wielding Ja.

    I'm good.

If Memphis is blowing it up my target would be JJJ

think shams put out there that they'd like to keep jjj (and i'm guessing coward and wells).

wondering if they got antsy because only a few teams would have real interest in morant, imo, and some of those were the same as the ones that would have interest in young (need butts in seats and to make the playoffs instead of being perennial bottom dwellers). wiz already got young, so you're looking at...NO?

i've said many times that a zion/morant team would be weirdly entertaining.

poole/fears for morant works, salary-wise and is a bit similar to the young trade. grizz get a prospect and playable guy (poole's still bad, but not as bad as remember) on a pretty large expiring next year.

Makes sense. Defensive talent like that is hard to come by and you can fairly easily build around JJJ IMO.

Crazy enough, I think Zion is still an interesting buy extremely low kind of guy for a team out there. He needs a full staff of babysitters though particularly to help him control his ...ummm.... taste in women.

Since they have shot themselves in the foot with trading off their picks, a move to get Morant also isn't crazy to me. I'd think they would try their best to keep Fears, but I don't hate that move at all.

I’ll take Morant for no draft picks and expiring useless contracts like Atlanta took. Other than that, nah.

Trying to convince teams to give up lots of assets for okay players on an 8-39 team is definitely a bold strategy

lol, as is committing to the core of an 8-31 team.

sean marks should call them and explain that the return for herb jones is going to keep shrinking. they should move him at the very least.

i get wanting to keep murphy and even zion. and i get being attached to recent lotto picks.

i notice they didn't name yves missi there, and i would like to introduce them to one dalton knecht and some more draft compensation.

I believe we had interest last year before the Williams trade.

I'm glad we don't have to struggle with nervousness over every fall or hit AD takes anymore.

I would be in on LaVine if it weren’t for us being one of the worst defensive teams n the League. This would just be doubling down in the “we will just outscore everyone” plan.

    Not injury prone, though.

yikes. should have moved him last week, and i'm not joking. they're going to tank anyway, but now they'll have to trade him in the offseason, and i'm not sure if there's as much benefit to be had there unless someone will take a good chunk of his salary into cap space.

with rich paul wanting an extension...that's just a bad situation for everyone.

that one puzzled me a bit, as he's pretty undersized--very different kind of player than williams (or ayton). he's like if bam adebayo had very little skill on offense.

we really traded AD at the peak, nothing but injuries since then, and certainly not going to get any better as he ages.

still can't believe we pulled that off.

i'd be curious to see what Dallas will get for him, but I'll be surprised if they get more than a first.

Yeah. I was definitely higher on Williams and Kessler at the time. Just curious if we might still have interest.
