It’s crazy to think that AR could go from undrafted to having his jersey retired by the Lakers. I think him and Luka get at least 2 rings over the next 8 years.

We're past the 1/4 mark of the season, and he's still statistically better than the 2nd best SG (Ant)

If he's still playing like this come All-star game, the discussion will no longer be if he's the second or third option on this team.

The discussion will be if he belongs on All-NBA second or third team.

 

Yeah, If he keeps this up he should be a shoo in for one of the all NBA teams.

 

Love Austin and what he is doing, but I think the fact that Kobe was fresh out of high school and a literal teenager has to always be factored in with these kinds of early career comparisons.

 

if he keeps it up, we'll just be lucky he's not supermax eligible.

 

And I don't think Ant's playstyle would fare as well as a 2nd option on a team.

Reaves could go 10 minutes without shooting and still play efficient basketball the next 10 minutes after that.

ANT seems like he needs the ball to get going.

I'd still take ANT but it's closer than what people outside looking in would think.

what's funny is that i think for most, giannis was on that list a couple weeks ago, but when confronted with the reality, you think again.

now, i agree with your list--and feel like it *might* contain a couple other names--but the main story is that this guy has emerged as a legit star. he's ours. let's be happy. i want someone else to make me an offer i can't refuse. otherwise, i roll with the incredibly likeable homegrown star.
