i think vando catches strays all the time, though, begging a question about where the obsession begins. like--he's just a bench player on a sub-mle contract. why so much discourse? we're 15-4. vando plays sometimes. sometimes he doesn't.

i think smart's better than vando, but i also don't consider vando "unplayable". this isn't controversial.

We have posters like front of jersey saying our defense is bad and playing Vando would improve our team. The reverse argument is Vando is a negative on offence to the point where we're a better team with him out of the rotation.

This all stems from the fact that we got whipped by OKC and we realise we need to improve. Some look internally, some look externally.

Meh - the number of posters who consistently want him to play is the reason the discourse exists. No one is really pushing say a guy like Knecht to see minutes or even NBA vets with proven playoff success such as Maxi and Gabe. And my posting history is pretty consistent here is that I think Lakers need to find a guy who can play similar to defense but stay on the floor.

Another 35 point game - he's still clearly would go #1 in a redraft IMO. The combo of agility, hops, skills, and that size is just really really hard to find. Plus, he's a literal baby, just 19

no one shows up in non-knecht threads talking about how worthless knecht is and why he needs to be traded yesterday. nor kleber (gabe gets some of this).

Vice versa No one is showing up in the non Knecht or non Gabe threads and asking for them to play like they do for Vando.

Another DNP for Vando. He’s gotta be in the doghouse and we don’t know it.

stupid game - they should have been up by 30 against a bad team without it starters but resulted in putting unnecessary risk.
Ayton getting hurt and AR playing till the nd the game

Right - AR and Luka continue to dominate averaging 63 ppg combined. That’s absurd. Ayton continues to impress as well. 22, 12 and 4 blocks.
Wrong - still not a lot of D. And we played with our food there at the end instead of demolishing them. Also where the hell is Vando? Come on JJ.

Lakers beat decimated Pels team in one of the biggest yawners we've seen in a while. I agree we should have pushed it to 30-35 and just let all our starters rest for the BTB against PHO, but that's not how this team rolls. Up by 26, let Nawlins cut it to 11.

Lakers jumped out to a 36-19 lead and gotta hand it to the Pels players, who gave effort in yet another loss.

The worst thing about this type of game: Ayton may have re-injured his knee. Ayton: 22/12 with 4 blocks. Loved his rim protection, but we allow guys to get to the rack too easily.

AR with another good shooting game: 9 of 15. AR: 33/5/8; The Don: 34/12/7.

Weird game: NO shot 51% for the game; Lakers "only" 48%. We shot 39 FTs; Pels shot 20.
