When you have to be a rocket scientist to figure out who an MVP is, it marginalizes the award. If the stupid morons who voted and idiot fans just kept it simple, they’d base it off the best player in the league as it’s suppose to be. It’s an individual award that literally says Most Valuable Player of its league. Then the debate would simply be about individual performance instead of lame friend opinions of fans and stupid bias voters.

This Big 3 is really unique and you can see why it's not just likely to work but also put up huge offensive numbers.

I don't think I've ever seen 3 guys on the same team who are elite scorers at all 3 levels (shoot, midrange, rim) and excellent passers. How are you supposed to guard some of this? Luka got a bunch of easy hockey assists by just passing to Lebron on the opposite wing and Lebron just waltzed into easy shot after easy shot because the defense for the first time in his career was tilted AWAY from him.

    I mean holy smokes:

To be fair, the Flippers defense is worse than ours. They pretty much have DJJ(who was out), Dunn, and Zubac as their plus defenders. Their team defense is bad- they don’t communicate very well.
Last night felt more like an All Star game than a hard fought Cup Match.
But yes, offensively, our three looked great last night.

So maybe Oklahoma will have a key injury and we will find a way through them?!?!?

if holmgren's out, i think it really changes their team. and he's definitely a candidate to be out.

If OKC get throught the West I hope they face Detroit - over a 7 games series that Detroit frontline could literally break Holmgren in half

Detroit is playing lights out this season. If Orlando gets healthy, they can be a factor in the playoffs. I wouldn't just assume, that it's going to be the Knicks turn in the East at all. I'm still skeptical of Toronto, but they are playing well right now too.

Yeah they took away all the paint scoring the Lakers normally do which was a big reason the Lakers got blown out - combination of a bunch of great POA defenders and switchable rim protecting rims

They can play any kind of defensive coverage will. Deep drop, shallower drop, hedge and recover, switch-heavy, etc. A more engaged Luka and actually present LeBron can attack them pretty well, but we showed up to that game like it was just 1 of 82 and OKC is going to blow away anyone who does that. I've been hesitant to acknowledge them as some all-time great team, but it's getting harder for me to hold that line lol.
