I like the Adou pick. Athletic, defensive guys are always useful. We’ve got a fantastic roll for him right now for 15 mins a night. Come in and pick up the best player 2-4 and wear them down. Same with Bronny, pick up the 1-2 and just go hard at them for 10-15 mins.

These two young guys can jsut soak up some regular season minutes while we work on developing their games over the next 1-2 years.

I’d love to trade Gabe, Kleber Vando plus our first for Ayton in this scenario. It’s a pretty solid team defensively and lots of youth. Lebron and DFS should take that pay cut to get us the MLE and we can add a backup center too.

i've been down to trade for ayton for a while now. the first is to take on vando. maybe we can trick portland into thinking ayton's going to a third team?

We can tap into our 2032 2nd Rounder now, right? Guess I'd do it for Vando, Kleber, Gabe, and Shake. Toss in that 2nd to take on Vando. Not including anyone else in that scenario though.

 

no. he's under 6ft, 2 full inches shorter and much lighter than brunson. he's more like scottie pippen jr.'s size.

 

i think it would take a first to save face for portland. can maybe protect it some, though.

vando's contract goes three years out. i love him, but not everyone sees his value lol.

 

Not sure we unload Vando and land Ayton without a first. The other outcome is we trade Rui or Reaves which I’m not keen on.

 

I can see why it would take the 1st to take on Vando, but think I'd rather take my chances with a stopgap. Save that 2031 1st for another deal or even hold on a full year so we can potentially package with the 2033 the following season.
