Would like to see if we can get Mitchell Robinson for the Knect package.

 

Meh we are just circling around here now man. .We aren't in the room with these people, we have no idea what was said.
I like Luka, I think he's top 5 and we can win a chip with him. Now ..How he moves and communicates with the FO with us, we can judge moving forward.

Tinkerbell played a lot of games, with a healthy Lebron and AD. He had a much larger sample size to peruse. However Chokeolo, is a fitting moniker for him IMO. That was a Harry Houdini level disappearing act, in the Conference Finals.

Curiously tho..he'll probably be great in Dallas. Westbrook played well in Denver..sometimes change is good.

I guess this is another subject, that we just won't ever view, in the same way..
I'm cool with it.

anyway, neither guy is on our free agent radar (nor that of most nba teams), so i'm not sure why you brought them up in the first place.

 

If you listened to his whole press conference, it doesn't sound as bad as this short clip. Missing context.

He was saying they are going to structure things with an eye to their injury history so that they're never in a scenario where they have to trade Jokic based on second apron limitations that could arise from injuries to others.

 

sounds like bracing the fans for selling off mpj. or...murray. those are their big salaried guys that have been hurt at inopportune times.

if they can convert mpj into a young player or pick, that would be great, but i'm not sure who bites on that. his deal is only partially guaranteed after next year, but still...might need to wait until the deadline and move him to a team who thinks he's the missing link to a ring and will give you a pick and some expiring money.

 

Westbrook’s out of the league Bro. NO ONE wanted him any longer for more than minimum to TPMLE. Props for his huge contract in the Euro League or wherever it is. Against lesser competition now with his still comparatively great athleticism he can be “Russ” again ….. bricks, brain farts, horrible off ball defense …. and all. Look what the move did for Kendrick Nunn.

 

Can Luka make him another Hayes ?

 

Because..a shot at a chip, is vastly more important, than individual success for me. I won't get over Tinkerbell until we get back to the Finals. I wasn't thinking about Russ after he left. I still think about Chokeolo tho.

When did Westbrook get out of the League?

 

i think denver can and should re-sign westbrook, tbh. he's fit nicely as a bench sparkplug there.

and i think dallas should sign dlo with the tpmle if he'll take it. he's a good poor man's irving/stand-in. and i think AD likes him, right? he made AD's life easier with us.

i just don't know why we're talking about them here, as their destinations really have no bearing on what we're doing.

not the athlete hayes is. i was interested in him last year for gabe, but it's a good thing no one listened to me, as he's been a nothingburger since signing that contract.

Back on topic..I'm always on Rob's a**. but I'm pretty optimistic about him, being able to pull off a decent trade this summer.

I also don't think Jeanie is going to be shy, about taking a big swing, on someone else's dime either.

Don't be shocked if he and Tinkerbell, end up signing somewhere this summer, for the same amount.

 

I hate YOU because of your ridiculous defense of Westbrook's "play" "himself" while he was a Laker ..... a separate issue from whether LeBron and AD were on the floor with him or not.

At the end of the day, Westbrook is a 1st ballot Hall Of Famer. Tinkerbell is just another footnote in Lakers infamy. A former 2nd overall pick of ours, that choked away a shot at redemption here, along with our shot at 18!
