they never fooled me! i don't see anyone taking derozan at this point, but i'm sure someone will be glad to rob them of sabonis.

right and given that miami is just shopping wiggins around the league, is gs going to bring him back?

pretty nice for them, as it beats losing kuminga for nothing or signing him to a deal you don't want (they obviously don't like him much). they know wiggins, and he's had his best years there.

still probably more than he would fetch on the open market by a good sight, though, right?

i think some of these high dollar short-term contracts for solid-but-not-spectacular vets are some of the wiser FA moves for cap space teams these days. the big dogs basically never move except via trade thanks to the new cba, so cap space can only be used creatively.

So let’s do a little old school NB4 or NBA Live scenario……

how do we get a three team for Kessler and Sabonis?

I think Knecht, Rui, Reaves, and picks are worth that.

truthfully I’d be down to throw in way more, but at least the BASE of the trade be those names.

I have a feeling it’s either going to be Horford or Capela and we are gonna call it a day

can't see boston letting horford walk for the tpmle, right? i can see capela walking and maybe the market not being strong for him.

i'd be happy with either, given what the asking price seems to be for the kesslers and claxtons of the world.

we'd still have all of our trade assets in hand.

Hey Danny boy, can we get in on this and you send Kessler here? Hopefully he's not involved going to Boston.

DK would fit in well in either city. For several reasons.

Because Tinkerbell absolutely choked, and blew us a shot at a chip. We would have definitely mopped Miami again.

Westbrook played on the team when Lebron and AD were hurt all the time, and we weren't winning s*** anyway. They played a total of 44 games together! That's a huge a** difference dude.

i think people will be pleased to find out that luka's not lebron, and he won't try to manage the team while playing on it. he'll go out there and try to win with who's there, and the next time he b****es about getting help will be the first in his career.

    so i'm not concerned.

with westbrook we wouldn't have advanced a round anyway. because he was really, really bad here. why you want to keep bringing him up to get dunked on is beyond me.

Jokic is eligible for a hefty contract extension this offseason, one that would add another three years onto his current supermax deal he signed back in the 2022 offseason. The contract, which will be around three years and $212.5 million (yes, that’s almost $71 million per year), would have him decline the player option on his current deal as a result and keep him with the Nuggets through the 2030 season.
212 millions for 3 years, Oh My God
Is Denver is going to play janitor and office worker from attendance ?

Utah holds our 2027 pick. Makes no sense to trade him to us unless it's a clear overpay or they think he'll makes us worse

We shall see what Luka wants or not soon. Dallas flipped their roster after getting to the Conference Finals, and then went to the Finals. He came here and let it be known that our bigs weren't adequate, so I'm not sure you can be assured that you know what he wants.

You don't know what would have happened, if Lebron and AD were healthy. That's CAP, We know exactly what happened with Tinkerbell though. There is a reason that he isn't here anymore too.

i've followed luka a lot more closely than you have (and it shows).

their (and partly brunson's) choice, not luka's. he's just so good he took two very different teams to the conference finals.

you have a fun--incorrect--way of framing events. they asked him what he could use and they told him. did he b**** about the rescinded trade? did he b**** about hayes? no! he actually helped hayes look great until whatever happened late in the season.

i'm not worried about what luka wants or him leaving because we don't trade a zillion picks for the 18th best starting center in the league like people want. that's lebron stuff.

i know we were worse with lebron/AD/russ (11-10) available than we were with lebron/AD/dlo (60-34) available. NO CAP BRO!

That's all your speculation dude, you have no idea what Luka said or didn't say behind closed doors. Whether you followed him or not, that doesn't give you some kind of window into his mind. Lebron is vocal, outspoken, he tells everyone what's on his mind. Luka may be more reserved, either way I seriously doubt that he's some naive kid, that just goes along with the flow, he's a superstar. Im sure that he makes his opinions known to the FO.

Again the Westbrook stuff is your opinion, AD made a lengthy statement on the subject. You can't have any chemistry, if you don't play together period. 44 games and the record was 22-22. That's not some obviously slam dunk level, of failure at all.

We shall see what's what pretty soon here.

-Gabe (they owe us for that false bill of goods)
    -Kleber
    - Shake
    -2nd round pick

Or I'd also probably do a Rui + Kleber for him, because he slots better than Rui BUT i'd want a couple seconds coming back from them.

so observing reality comes second to your wild speculation. got it.

    it's .500. that's play-in. with dlo, the record was .667ish. that's better. this isn't an opinion.

i don't know what that means. we'll see what the market bears. these outcomes have nothing to do with whether luka's threatening to leave if we don't trade our first-born children for nic vucevic or whatever.

it's an interesting idea because of his perimeter defensive ability without being a huge minus on offense. that said, his defense really hasn't been good for most of his career, save that one magic year in gs. and giving up a year of flexibility for him...i think i pass, tbh.
