What depth?, we only played 5-6 players to end the Minnesota series.

As you see in the playoffs the teams who are still in the playoffs have depth. We need to keep our depth. We have to have a deep roster. Keeping Luka and Lebron fresh is important. Look at what teams won with Luka in Dallas and do that. What Luka teams beat Minnesota and OKC he had depth and Centers who can play in pick and roll.

Every year is different, Denver actually won a chip playing 7 guys. It depends on the players involved. It doesn't do you any good, to have over half of your roster, just watching the games in the playoffs.

We've lost 3 straight playoffs series, only winning 2 games. Im not married to the idea of just running it back with a few upgrades. It depends on who the upgrades are. I would rather keep Austin and Rui, while flipping anybody else for two legit rotation players, and 1 vet minimum ring chaser. I totally believe that we will get somebody, willing to take a paycut, for a role and a shot at a chip. Rob is actually pretty damn good at the bargain pickups.

The most important factor is always fit. You need players with clearly defined roles who complement each other. If you have that, you can win with a 7-8 man rotation. Depth is still valuable, especially for covering injuries.

The mini MLE could very well produce a starting 5. The vet minimum ring chaser will be more valuable than his contract. We just need to figure out, who we can get for Knecht, our expirings and draft capital. That guy needs to be the best player of the 3 add ons.

I guess this is what happens when you have two first names.

Re: WCF... OKC isn’t even playing their best basketball, yet they don’t seem to be struggling with the Timberwolves at all. Shai is clearly the best player on the court; he gets to the line with ease and has incredible body control. On top of that, they’ve got these relentless, elite guard defenders who go full throttle all game and can still knock down open threes, so you can’t ignore them. Their two bigs combined for 27 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks... it’s tough to match up against that. They just keep grinding their opponent like this all game long.

+18 right now, and the Wolves can't play defense without fouling.

It looks like it's SGA's turn, to get to the Finals.

Yeah they probably will win it all, but honestly I can’t stand watching SGA play the way you can’t even breath on the guy and it’s a foul. The calls he gets are absolutely absurd. He initiates contact 80 percent of the time and just flops his way to the line. I have no respect for that kind of playing style.

That’s why I laugh when people try to compare him to Michael or Kobe. I still don’t think he should win MVP. He has the best team, but that doesn’t make him MVP. There is no way OKC should’ve been pushed to the brink, by a severely flawed Nuggets team if anything to me it shows how great Jokic is and how he’s carried a mediocre roster all season long. Yes he flops a lot too, but to me he should be MVP he’s the best player and the most valuable IMO.

When I scout a guy. I just see look. Shai did have the Kobe look outa Kentucky. When I scouted him and said that I was laughed at. But he plays like Kobe mastered his game. Two way player. Mid range. Mid post like Kobe. Long frame 6,7” 190. Pure scorer.

you could see that at Kentucky. That’s why Jerry is great. He saw that and said take Shai. Trade Blake. People thought he was crazy. He saw where the game was going no more big men.

Ballmer who’s supposed to be a smart businessman didn’t listen to his genius who he hired to make genius calls and listened to Kawaii. Cause he just didn’t want him to go to the Lakers. I would’ve told kawaii go sign with the Lakers. We aren’t trading Shai. You know that player empowerment b*******. Trade Kuzma and KCP for Westbrook. Bring THT back and let Caruso kick rocks.

But back to Clippers. Doc Rivers said don’t trade Shai. This is after that Clipper team took Durant and the Warriors to 7 games.

Shai showed elite defense in that series guarding Steph.

When I scouted Klay pre draft workout I said he looks like Reggie Miller.

As we’ve seen with future trades of superstars Clippers were giving up enough in the draft picks with the draft picks. Why trade your best young player Shai?????????
